I've looked at many eyes, but only got lost in yours.

-Unknown

Hinata woke up to the warmth of the sun, it's rays streaming into the room, giving it a golden colour.

She groaned, tossing around, trying to go back to oblivion. There was no such luck, and Hinata sighed, opening her eyes.

She rubbed them, before yawning as she sat up. Stretching, she blinked, feeling the lightness in her chest, the tension in her shoulders gone.

She had just had the best sleep of her life. She felt relaxed beyond belief, as if she would take flight any second.

She stood up, her toes curling at the coolness of the floor. Why did it feel so out of place with everything else?

Hinata shrugged, making way to the bathroom. She yawned again, taking herself in the mirror. It was at this moment she felt cool air hit her collarbone.

Focusing on her reflection in confusion, Hinata blinked, taking in her reflection.

Her shirt buttons were undone.

However, it was not surprising, considering how much she tossed and turned in bed. She half-expected the buttons to be broken.

She sighed, turning around to have a clear view of them in the mirror.

Thankfully, they were intact.

Just as Hinata was about to button them up, a flash of blue caught her eyes.

Her eyebrows furrowed, as she strained to look at her reflection, at the same time ensuring she could also see her back in the mirror.

She pulled her shirt to one side, from the sleeve, revealing more of her shoulder.

There was a bite mark there.

Hinata's eyes widened, as she gasped.

What in the-?!

Then, her breath was knocked out of her lungs, everything coming back to her.

Itachi's visit, their cuddles, his confession, his past, her confession, their kisses, their kisses, their kisses, their ki-

Clamping a hand around her mouth, she stared, dumbfounded into the eyes of her own reflection.

After the thought had sunk in, she rushed outside the bathroom, panting as her eyes rushed over her bed.

Nothing, but a mess of tangled sheets and warm blanket.

She exhaled, confused.

Was that a dream then?

The voice in her head snorted.

There's a literal love bite on your shoulder. It began slowly, as if speaking to a toddler.

So unless you have Orochimaru's neck and a fetish for biting yourself, there's no way in hell that was a dream.

She felt like facepalming at her own stupidity.

Then, she slowly sunk to the ground, her hands placed in her lap.

Truth to be told, she didn't know how to feel about it.

She was sure she didn't regret anything.

But would she do it again, if given the chance?

The answer came to her in a heartbeat, without any hesitation.

Absolutely.

Blushing slightly, Hinata shook her head, a small grin on her face, fingers on her lips.

She wasn't going to ruin everything with her overthinking. Just for some time, she wanted to enjoy her time with Itachi.

And she was going to do exactly that.

Getting up with a skip in her step, she hummed, making way towards her closet.

Just as she was about to open it, her eyes landed on her dresser, just beside her closet

Or more specifically, on her Konoha Headband.

Feeling her mood turn solemn, she slowly stepped towards it, taking it in her hands.

Just weeks ago, she had held it it same way and made a decision that had lead up to this moment.

She had decided to stay away from him back then, because she had assumed he was an enemy.

The irony of the situation was unbelievable.

And suddenly, she could make sense of almost every thing that had happened, all his actions and reactions.

"Preserving life is not weaknesses. And disposing of it like it's nothing, is not strength."

The reason he had let her live all that time ago in the hospital had been this.

He had had his taste of violence in his life. Why would he want to have more of it, when it was not necessary?

One thought led to another, and Hinata was lost in her thoughts, eyes wide as everything clicked in place.

"I am loyal to those I love. As you should have been."

She was a fool, saying those words to him, when she knew nothing of who he was. Absolutely nothing at all.

She felt the guilt now, remembering his rage at her words.

For as long as she had known him, never once had he complained to her about anything. Never once had he even shown his dislike for the path that he had chosen.

Instead, he had bore it all with a silent acceptance.

However, that time in the forest, his mask had cracked. It made her realize now that he, of all people, had really been at his wit's end.

She had known him, knew how patient he was. And her heart clenched, knowing that something had managed to break it all down.

All those times he looked exhausted, tense beyond belief came back to her.

She clasped her hands at her chest, tears brimming in her eyes and she closed them.

She had already known this but-

He is such a kind person.

Along with her own thoughts, another voice echoed in her mind.

"You truly are a kind child."

Her chest constricted even more.

The words of Itachi's father. His last words.

Hinata couldn't imagine how painful it might've have been for Itachi to hear those words and still carry on with his mission. She couldn't imagine the courage it took to bear it all either.

She looked at her own reflection.

I want to see him. Now.

Quickly rushing to the bathroom, she did her morning routine, followed by a warm bath.

Getting herself as quickly as she could, Hinata went towards her closet, looking for clothes.

Dressing in her usual attire, she ran downstairs. Finding the house empty, she realized that Kurenai was still asleep.

She must be tired after yesterday.

Deciding to make breakfast, Hinata got to work. She made some for Kurenai too, so the elder woman wouldn't have to when she woke up.

Swiftly shoving it all down her throat, Hinata ran back to her room, grabbing her training equipment and black cloak.

And with that, she exited the house, running towards the forest, towards the cabin.

Roughly an hour later, she felt his Chaks signature. Her heart skipped a beat, as she increased her speed.

Then, she saw his back, his hair flying in the breeze.

Her breath caught as she took in his form, standing a few metres away. As if sensing her presence, he turned towards her, eyebrows furrowing.

She didn't hear him, but saw the word form around his mouth.

Hinata?

She didn't waste another second before launching herself at him.

She slammed into her, her arms wrapping around his neck, as they both fell to the ground.

She felt him groan slightly, a hand going to move his hair from his face, the other resting on her waist. He lifted them both, comfortably sitting up on his elbow.

"I take it you missed me?" His warm breath ghosted over her ear, as she snuggled deeper into his chest.

You have no idea.

She didn't reply, instead choosing to bury her face in the crook of his neck. She felt his arms come around her as he sat up. Then slipping an arm beneath her legs, he stood up, carrying her with her still pressed so tightly against him.

Walking beneath the shade of a tree, he sat, placing the woman in his lap. He ran a hand through her hair, before pressing his lips against her scalp.

"Are you alright?" He murmured against her ear, moving a few dark stands away from her face, concern in his eyes.

She sighed, before nodding.

"Now I am." She whispered, eyes closed.

Itachi smiled, resting his cheek against her head, before exhaling slowly.

Me too.

For a long moment, they stayed in the same position, basking in each other's warmth.

Then, Hinata pulled away, meeting his eyes.

Tilting her head towards him, she leaned forward, arms tightening around his neck. His did the same around her waist, one hand going to cup her cheek.

Their lips met in a soft kiss, moving against each other in perfect harmony.

The fireworks went off again, exploding colours behind their closed eyes, making their breath catch.

Despite having kissed many times last night, the effect each one had on them remained unchanged.

Itachi knew he could never get tired of her.

After a few more seconds, Hinata pulled away, sighing dreamily.

Itachi leaned forward again, pressing a kiss to her forehead. He saw a red stain the woman's cheeks, and she grinned.

He looked around, taking her in. Spotting her training gear, he turned toward her, raising an eyebrow.

"Did you come to train?"

Hinata blinked, tilting her head to one side. Then, her eyes lit up in recognition.

"Oh! I think I grabbed it out of habit."

Itachi hummed in response. There was silence for a moment.

"Though..." Itachi turned to Hinata when she began.

The blush on her cheeks increased, and he felt his surprise when she started fidgeting with her fingers.

"Though, I suppose I would like to spar again." Her head shot up to him, hands now waving about.

Hinata refused to meet his eyes, remembering the last time they had sparred. Her cheeks burned at the memory, stomach feeling warm at the image of his muscled torso.

"If-If you're fine with it, of course! If you're not then, I totally understand! I was just thinking that it would be nice to spar with you, because I had a lot of fun the last time too, and-"

Her nervous rambling was cut short was a hand pressed itself to her mouth.

Itachi simply chuckled.

"Relax. I'm not going to kill you for asking." Moving her away from his lap, he stood up, dusting his own cloak.

He extended a hand towards Hinata, who looked at it, confused, before taking it.

She stood up too. She had been dusting herself off, when a hand grabbed hers and pulled.

She felt her cheeks tingle again, watching their interlocked hands hover between them.

She almost squealed in happiness.

It was such a small thing; holding hands, that is. But, with him, it became something so precious, that she felt her heart skip a beat.

A small gesture from him, yet it meant the world to her.

She glanced at him, taking in the smile on his face.

She felt her heart flutter.

Trying to distract herself from the thought, she focused her eyes ahead.

"Where are we going?"

He raised an eyebrow, just as they entered a clearing.

"To spar?"

Hinata blinked.

Oh.

She mentally facepalmed herself at her own stupidity.

As that walked, she noticed the sky getting darker, even though it was still morning. She smiled slightly, nose crinkling at the familiar scent.

Maybe it's going to rain.

Standing at a distance from him, Hinata took off her cloak, folding it nearly near a tree. She tuned to see that Itachi had done the same.

Meeting in the middle of the clearing, Itachi tied back his hair.

"Same rules as before?" He asked, and Hinata nodded her agreement.

Standing at a distance from each other, they took their stances.

A second later, he was coming at her.

Still not used to his speed, Hinata jumped away, landing on her heel. Just as he came for her again, she pivoted, her foot going for his shoulder.

However, predicting this, Itachi crouched, and she missed. Finding her foot on the ground defense less, he swiped a leg against it.

However, Hinata had been a victim of that move many times, and was ready.

She placed her hand on his shoulder, using it as support to backflip behind him. Quickly, he turned around, blocking a punch just in time.

She used her other hand for the attack, but he grabbed both her wrists, one in each hand. Before she could use her leg to go for his face, he twisted his own leg around her own, reading her incapable of going so.

Hinata's eyes widened, and Itachi's face turned smug. Hinata felt panic, as her eyes darted around, looking for a way out of this deadlock.

She felt herself being pushed back, her raw strength no match for his own.

If only his grip was a little loose, she would have been able to use her other leg to retaliate. But, such was not the case.

She twisted her wrists in his hold, but it did nothing to help.

Meeting his eyes, Hinata suddenly had an idea.

Seeing her eyes light up, Itachi felt his eyes narrow, his guard going up.

Instead of pushing with her arms, she suddenly pulled. It would have made anyone else stumble, feeling the resistance against them disappear so quickly.

But, Itachi was quick to adjust.

He had scarcely sat himself right, when lavender engulfed his senses.

He looked back to his opponent, eyes widening when he realized how close she was.

Hinata didn't waste another second, before closing the distance completely.

Their lips met, and Itachi's mind blanked.

Feeling his grip loosen, Hinata immediately pulled away, raising her foot to his shoulder.

However, instead of hitting him, she simply let her weight fall on him, and he stumbled.

A gentle kick to his other leg, made him fall back. At the last moment, however, he grabbed the front of Hinata's shirt.

She gasped as she fell too, right on top of him.

Groaning as she sat up, Hinata opened her eyes, panting.

She watched as Itachi did the same, his chest heaving beneath her.

"That..." He coughed, before continuing.

"That was a dirty trick."

Hinata grinned, hovering over him to look into his eyes.

"We're Shinobi." She drawled out, looking at him knowingly.

"We don't play nice."

He laughed, recognizing his own words being thrown back at him.

He noticed she enjoyed doing that a lot.

As they both caught their breath, still looking at each other, Hinata felt her heart pound.

Cupping Itachi's cheek, she leaned forward pressing their lips together.

His hand tightened around her waist, and he sighed.

Pulling away, Hinata took in his closed eyes, his peaceful expression.

She trailed her hand lower on his neck, where she could still see the marks she had left behind.

She pressed her nose against his pulse, inhaling deeply, before pressing her lips against it.

Itachi groaned, feeling those sinful lips trail lower, and he fisted his hand in her hair, wanting to feel more of her.

Her teeth grazed at his skin, as she sucked, every second sending another wave of pleasure through him.

He shuddered, feeling her breath against his ear.

"I do recall you saying it wasn't a...bad experience."

He cursed loudly.

Jus why did her voice have to be so breathless? So groggy, and filled with desire?

It reminded him of that time in his dreams when he pinned her on the bed and-

He groaned, feeling her tongue slide against his skin.

X-Rated thoughts weren't really helping right now.

His fingers dug into her skin, when he felt her hand curve around his neck, and slip through his shirt. Her other hand trailed over his abdomen, before making way to his back.

He hated the way she was so calm, while he was panting like he just ran a whole marathon.

When her nails began digging into his back, he moaned loudly.

Feeling his face burn, he raised a trembling hand to his face. He bit into his own skin, when he felt another surge of pleasure rock him.

This time, whatever sound he made was muffled, his other hand moving on her back in endless caress.

She arched fluidly, moaning against his neck, before moving away.

She was straddling him, watching as he let go of his hand, face flushed as he panted.

Waiting for him to catch his breath, Hinata grabbed his hand and pressed it against her waist.

He opened his eyes, half-lidded as he looked at her.

Rubbing his hand against her in circular motion, she moved it up slightly.

She leaned forward, lips red and parted and she met his eyes.

"Touch me."

He didn't need to be told twice.

Without wasting another second, he flipped them over, crashing their lips together. He bit her lower lip, before sucking against.

He pulled away far too soon for Hinata to be satisfied.

She whined slightly, moving towards him, but he pulled away. Instead, he buried his face against the crook of her neck, as her hands went to claw at his back.

It was his turn to mark her.

Feeling her arch against him, he trailed lower, pulling at her collar and going dangerously close to her chest.

She moaned, one of her legs going to wrap around him, her heel rubbing against his spine, encouraging him to go on.

Like he needed it. As if the feel of her wasn't enough for him to go on.

When he pulled away, she met his eyes, grabbing his hand. As she pressed it against her waist again, her other hand fumbled with the buttons on her shirt.

Quickly undoing the lower ones, she tightened her hold on his hand, her other hand going to the back of his neck.

His burning eyes made her squirm, her body growing warmer and warmer under its intensity.

"Would you like to know what you do to me in my dreams?" She whispered to him, hand, once again, sliding through his shirt to rest on his bare chest.

Her other hand pressed his to her waist, and she felt herslef tremble at the jolts that shot through her body at the contact.

She moaned when he took control, making his hand across her back, exposing just a little more of her skin.

He groaned at how soft her skin was, imagining how it would feel rubbing against his.

As if reading his thoughts, she undid more of her buttons and raised her shirt, before doing the same to his.

"Fuck." He hissed, feeling her hot skin come in contact with his even hotter one.

Then, Itachi moved slightly, slipping a hand behind Hinata's waist and pressing her stomach to his.

When he began rubbing against her, she moaned loudly, pressing her thighs together to relieve the ache in her core.

Itachi noticed and he pulled away, creating distance between them. Hinata's eyes opened, her gut twisting even more when she found herself staring at a pair of black, smouldering eyes.

With a gentleness that seemed out of place with everything, Itachi tucked a strand of hair behind h

He focused his sinfully attractive eyes on her, his voice smooth and dangerous when he spoke.

"Would you like to know what I do to you in my dreams?"

Hinata whimpered, not able to form a single word.

Slowly, almost torturously, his hand began to move up, trailing her side, before resting against her ribs.

She let out a throaty moan, feeling his fingers trace the very edge of her breasts. However, he didn't do anything more.

Opening her eyes, she exhaled out a moan, to find him staring at her, almost expectantly.

Hinata was a woman of pride. Or she had turned into one, recently. She should have been disapproving of the situation at hand.

Instead, she felt herself grow hotter when she realized that he was going to make her beg for it.

She mumbled something, however, immediately arching when his hand moved just a little bit higher.

"What was that?" He whispered against her ear.

Further making it difficult to speak, he began massaging her ribs.

"Up! It-ah! Ple-Please. Mov-ah!"

She could imagine her smirk, as he whispered a 'As you wish.'

Then, his hand moved up, gently resting on her breast, on top of her bra. She was sure he could feel the hardened peak, perking at the contact.

She exhaled shakily, trying to catch her breath while his hand was immobile. It didn't last long.

Hinata arched, feeling him tighten his hold. He began fondling her breast gently, watching as she exhaled out another inappropriate sound.

He continued for another minute, before stopping. Looking up at the sudden change, Hinata whined as he leaned forward.

As she got lost in his eyes, he groped her chest again, pulling at the sensitive crown.

There was none of that gentleness that had been there a while ago.

He crashed his lips against hers, just as she cried out, the sound muffled. She clawed at him, pulling him closer, fisting her hands in his hair.

"Don't stop!" She cried when he pulled away, tightening her leg around him. He watched, as she raised herslef slightly, rubbing her core against his abdomen wanting--no, needing--friction.

Itachi smirked, raising an eyebrow.

So, she likes it rough.

With that thought in mind, he pulled away slightly, before shoving his knee between her thighs.

As her eyes snapped open, his fingers dug deeper against her chest, her protests dying in a mess of moans and cries.

"Itachi!" She called out, and he felt his gut coil, throat going dry, as he pushed his knee harder against her core.

He could feel her heat through the cloth, as she rubbed against him, muttering his name again and again.

He continued his ministrations on her chest, his other hand going to rest on her stomach.

His hand began to move lower, and her mutters of his name increased, becoming louder and louder.

One again resting his lips by her ear, he hummed.

"You did ask to be touched, didn't you." He stated more than asked.

Hinata nodded frantically, not caring how easy she was making this for him.

As his hand continued to pull at her breast--the motion enough to make her see white--he trailed his other hand lower, coming to rest above her core.

He pressed, hard.

Her body reacted violently, the knot in her gut coiling and uncoiling, so uncontrollably, she could do nothing but cry out again, rubbing herself harder against his knee.

When, he pressed for the second time, everything burst.

White exploded behind her eyes, as her whole body tensed. She arched, her heel digging into his spine almost painfully, as if it was the only thing keeping her anchored to the ground.

Her mouth parted in a silent scream of pleasure as she threw her head back, nails digging into his back so harshly, he was sure there were going to be marks.

He didn't mind the thought all.

Then, slowly she relaxed, slumping on the ground completely, breath coming out in heavy pants. The contractions and spasms finally died down, leaving her trembling from her climax.

When she had caught her breath, she opened her eyes, feeling tension roll off her shoulders. She squeaked, her face burning as she found herself staring at midnight eyes.

She couldn't believe he had made her come.

Itachi buried his face in her neck, gently kissing the marks he had left behind. He felt a warm sensation wash over him, at seeing her so relaxed, knowing that he was the cause of it.

"Feeling better?" He murmured against her throat.

She sighed in response, not having the energy to respond.

There was a gentleness in the atmosphere, a calmness that hadn't been there before.

Hinata looked up, when Itachi shifted, laying beside her in the ground. He grunted, when she moved closer to cuddle against him, trying to ignore the wetness between her thighs.

She blinked, feeling something cool and wet drip on her face.

She looked at the sky, just as another drop of water fell on her.

Then another, and another and another and another and-

Soon, it was raining heavily, but neither made an effort to get up. Hinata sighed feeling the rain cool down her burning skin.

Beside her, Itachi felt the same.

Watching Hinata lose herself to him and come undone--really, she was too responsive--had been arousing beyond belief. He wouldn't have minded continuing, but this was not the place.

They were out in the open, and anyone could chance upon them. Besides, he was sure if she didn't return home on time, search parties might be sent once they found that she was no longer in the village.

And that wouldn't be pretty either.

They laid in silence, only the sound of the rain between them.

"Tomorrow." Itachi exhaled out, feeling the woman in his arms shift.

"Tomorrow. We will meet here again."

Hinata hummed in response, and the silence resumed.

Another few minutes of laying together, with the rain beating down on them, it began to get chilly.

A while later, they were whispering their goodbyes, kissing each other one last time, having decided their separate ways.,

As Hinata watched his back disappear, she sighed before beginning her journey back.

If only I could go with him.

While travelling, she stopped at the first inn she saw, immediately taking a bath to clean herself, before changing into her spare clothes.

She was suddenly glad that it had rained, considering Itachi's scent had probably washed off.

At the same time, she hoped it had lingered.

As soon as she was done, she bought a umbrella and continued on her way.

She set a ruthless pace, reaching Konoha in record time.

Travelling past the familiar streets, Hinata barely glanced at them, intent on getting home. As she entered her home, she took in Kurenai, humming as she washed the dishes.

It seemed so strange. So much had happened in the last few hours, and yet Kurenai was going on as if it were just another day.

If only she knew.

Hinata suddenly felt out-of-place in the room, uncomfortable in the warmth it contained.

She tensed when Kurenai greeted her with her usual hug.

"I was wondering, when you would come back."

As Kurenai set the table, she talked about the festival and her day.

"Kakashi came today."

Hinata looked up, raising an eyebrow, confused at the news.

Kakashi rarely visited, except on celebrations or other events.

"What did he want?"

Kurenai grinned, a proud glint in her eyes.

"He wants you to join his team's training session tomorrow."

Hinata's eyes widened.

Kakashi-sensei did not waste his time on those who were not worth it.

Which meant that in his eyes, she had potential.

She felt strange being acknowledged by her superiors. She had dreamed of it for so long, she still couldn't believe it was actually happening.

Despite having a lot on her mind, the moment Hinata went to her room, she collapsed on the bed.

It was not even evening, and she already felt drained.

An after effect of her...activities with Itachi, no doubt.

She blushed at the thought, feeling herself grow even light-headed.

As soon as she closed her eyes, darkness engulfed her completely, and she dozed off.
