Hermione took a deep breath before slowly cracking the door open. She did a double take before walking into the room and shutting the door firmly behind her.
"What are you doing?" She asked and Neville startled before toppling over. He bumped into Ginny and that left Harry as the only one with his hands on the giant dots.
"We're playing Twister, Herm! Harry's been ready for ages." Ginny explained and Hermione pinched the end of her nose. Thank Merlin no one else had seen them like this. Ron would have thrown a fit to see Harry in his wedding gown, rolling around on the floor.
"I can't stand waiting, Hermione. I get antsy." Harry said softly and she cracked a grin.
"Make sure to invite me next time. I love Twister."
"Is Draco having a meltdown?" Ginny asked gleefully as she took a bite of a cookie as she sat down. Hermione threw herself down on the sofa before sighing loudly.
"Draco is fine. He tried to sneak over but Sirius caught him. It's the Black Cousins that are the problem. They all somehow ended up brawling! Professor Tonks had to break it up and she was not happy." Ginny laughed loudly and Harry joined in.
"I bet it was hilarious to watch." Neville gently cleared his throat and she felt a flash of guilt. Of course he wouldn't find it funny. Bellatrix Lestrange had tortured his parents into insanity.
"I see Lady Lestrange managed to escape. I think she promised me a stabbing." He said cheerfully before taking a giant dagger out of his pocket. He started whistling as he strode out of the room.
"She what?" Ginny muttered and Harry snickered as he eased himself beside her, his dress flaring out.
"Miss. Bella promised Neville could give her a little stab, just to make them even." He explained and she groaned before burying her face into her hands.
"Not my circus, not my monkeys." She whispered before straightening her shoulders.
"Harry, you look stunning. I've been waiting for this day for so long and now that it's finally here, I couldn't be happier." She sniffed. Harry reached over and grasped her hand.
"I'm so happy you're here to share it with me. Remember when we first met? You accused me of trying to make you do my homework!" He giggled and she grinned as she remembered. Harry was the first friend she had made at Hogwarts. Without him, she probably would have been miserable until she graduated.
"I remember. I still can't believe I'm going to be the new Librarian next year." She squealed and he cheered for her. The Headmistress had accepted her application after the unfortunate disappearance of Madam Pince. Hermione was one hundred percent sure Draco had something to do with it but she was still grateful. There was a knock on the door and Professor Snape stuck his head in.
"It's time for the ceremony."
Ron straightened his tie for the hundredth time. Everything had to be perfect. His best mate was getting married today! He dabbed his eyes before glaring at Cedric.
"Oi! Draco left you in charge of greeting the guests! I don't see you greeting." He barked out and Cedric looked around before pointing at himself.
"I've already greeted all of the guests, Ron! I'm currently hiding from the Black Sisters. Mrs. Tonks told Mrs. Lestrange how I have "liquid luck running through my veins" and I'm pretty sure they're plotting to drag me into the woods after the ceremony so I need to be around witnesses!" He rambled out and Ron held up his hand to stop him.
"Cedric, I forgot the part where I care! Go greet the guests or I'll drag you into the woods!" Cedric scurried away and Ron took a calming breath.
"Merlin, Forge! You would think Ronnie is the one getting married!' George joked as he came into the room, Fred right behind him.
"I know, Gred! We'll have to make sure Fleur keeps him distracted when their big day comes." Ron flushed brightly but didn't say anything. He knew he was being a bridezilla but he didn't care. Harry was his best friend, he was going to make sure everyone behaved themselves. He had Daphne and Marcus on the lookout for any potential troublemakers. Neville came practically skipping into the room and Ron swore he saw blood on the cuff of his sleeve but didn't say anything. Neville could be rather scary at times.
"Alright! We have to take our seats. The ceremony is about to start!" Ron quickly took his seat beside Fleur and Percy.
"Hi Ronnie! The Twins said you were being crazy." Percy whispered before handing him a chocolate frog. He popped it into his mouth before smiling shyly at him.
"Maybe just a little crazy." He admitted and Percy patted his shoulder.
"You get that from me." Fluer tapped his side and he looked over.
"Sorry to break up your moment, darling but aren't you standing up with Harry?" Ron felt himself pale before he hurried towards the back of the room, scattered laughter following him. He found Herm waiting for him and he held his arm out. She rolled her eyes as she took it. Lord Malfoy was standing at the altar and Draco started marching towards him. Ron wasn't sure who had convinced him to wear a crown but he looked stunning. Herm pulled his arm and he let her lead him to the front before they separated. Loud squawking came from behind them and he watched as four peacocks came strutting down the aisle. Marshmallow was in the lead and Ron preened at how cute they looked. They had on little black suits, with matching ties. They toddled over to stand beside Herm. The crowd seemed to hold their breath before the door was opening for a final time and Harry stepped out with Sirius on his arm.
Draco felt his heart skip a beat as he greedily took in Harry's outfit. It was a white floor length dress made entirely of lace. It had a high neck and white buttons down the sleeves. Harry's hair was in an elegant bun at the nape of his neck and a veil trailed after him. Sirius gently placed Harry's hand in his and muttered "I'll be watching" before sitting beside his Godfather. Harry's eyes were on him and he whispered "You look so beautiful, Draco." He couldn't resist kissing the back of his gloved hand and said "I have never seen anything more lovely, my heart."
"We have gathered here today to celebrate the Bonding of Draco and Harry. The ancient Houses of Malfoy and Potter will be united today! The boys have decided to say their own vows." His Father announced and looked at him. He grasped both of Harry's hands before staring deeply into his eyes.
"My heart. My soul. My husband. I vow to cherish you, devote my life to you and always be true. I had spent my whole life looking for you and the moment we locked eyes, I knew you were the one for me. I vow to express my love for you with each breath I take. I give you my heart, love me forever and I will never leave your side. You and I will be bound until Death takes us." Draco had thought hard on what he wanted to convey with his vows. His vows would mark the beginning of their marriage. They had to express how he truly felt. The absolute devotion he had for Harry Potter. He gently wiped away the tear trailing down his beloved cheek before beaming at him.
"Draco, I want to thank you." Harry began and he kept all of his focus on him.
"The first time we met, I was so lonely. I had no one. Then you fell into my life and suddenly everything exploded into new colors and sounds. You took my hand and never let go. I'm so grateful we met at Madam Malkin's that day. I truly believe that Magic made us soulmates. I love you." Draco wiped his eyes before they both turned to look at his Father. He was bawling as he spoke.
"Let Magic judge these two and find them devoted. If they should break the sacred promise made today, let her justice be swift." Just like at Sirius and Severus's Bonding, magic swirled around them. Draco let out a gasp as he felt his heart sync up with Harry's. Their hearts truly beat as one now. He felt a burning sensation on his wrist and saw a glittering gold band wrap around his wrist. A glance at Harry showed the same thing. He felt nothing but joy as his Father called out "Magic has judged them and found them worthy!" All of their guests cheered loudly and Draco reached forward to kiss Harry enthusiastically, ignoring Sirius shouting in the background. They parted before turning to face the crowd. Ginny was crying against Daphne's shoulder while Snappy sat on Neville's lap. He could see Greg and Vince clapping wildly as Blaise blew them kisses. Aunt Bella was clutching her side and Barty was a wreck as he blew his nose with her hair. He met his Mother's gaze and puffed his chest out at the pride on her face. Pretty Boy Diggory was clapping while Tonks threw confetti as they walked back down the aisle together.
"Congratulations, boys!" Rita shouted as Colin snapped pictures from beside her.
"Yes, congratulations Mr. Malfoy." Harry said slyly from beside him and Draco kissed his wrist.
"Thank you, Mr. Malfoy." He purred back.
Harry beamed as his father twirled him around the dance floor. For someone so against dancing, he was rather good at it. He could see Draco awkwardly swaying with his papa and laughed brightly.
"They do look rather uncomfortable, don't they?" Father Severus snorted as he dipped him.
"I still can't believe he agreed to Draco moving in." Harry had been prepared to break out the puppy dog eyes to convince his papa that Draco living with them would be for the best.
"It was only a matter of time." Father kissed his forehead before saying softly "You look lovely, my son. Lily and James would be so proud of the man you're becoming." Harry gave him a watery smile before hugging him tightly.
"Thank you, father." A hand caught his arm and he was spun into Pansy's arms.
"Harry, my favorite Hufflepuff!' She cried out happily.
"Hey! Harry's my favorite Hufflepuff!" Astoria shouted from beside her sister.
"Go away, nasty children. I love sweet little Harrikins the most." Miss. Bella cooed as she rubbed her cheek against the top of his head. The Aurors had shown up two hours ago and they had agreed to let them stay until the party was over. Harry was sure Miss. Bella hadn't given them a choice but kept silent. He was just happy she could make it.
"Hi, Miss. Bella!" She started gliding around the dance floor with him, her eyes bright.
"How is your side?" He asked. He had seen her clutching it earlier and knew Neville had a little "chat" with her.
"Just fine, darling! It's nice to see that little Longbottom has claws." Harry giggled at her expression. She had caught sight of Barty and scowled at him. Harry decided they would be his next project. Mr. Lestrange wasn't a good fit for Miss. Bella. Barty seemed to challenge her in a good way. They could have their wedding at Azkaban! He would convince Chad to officiate it.
"Could I have my husband, Aunt?" Draco cut in and snatched him away before she could respond.
"I saw your plotting face, darling." He said as he tucked them into a little alcove, away from the noise.
"I just happened to think that Miss. Bella and Barty would make a lovely couple." Draco looked amused as he inched closer.
"Aunt Bella is married, darling." Harrys shrugged his shoulders carelessly.
"Maybe Mr. Lestrange could have an accident? I heard they happen all the time in Azkaban." Draco laughed lowly before kissing his hand.
"Name it and I will make it happen, my love." Harry thought about it.
"Anything?" Draco gave him a heated look before murmuring back "Anything."
"This isn't what I meant." He said, his voice full of delight. They had snuck out into the garden and were laying on a blanket looking at the stars.
"Look, Draco! A shooting star. Hurry, make a wish!" "All of my wishes have already come true." Draco was gazing at him warmly. Harry couldn't resist kissing him. He pulled back slightly so their noses were touching. "Me too."
