A/N:No clue where this came from. I'm getting myself ready for tommorrow when classes begin, and boom, urge to write appears. Enjoy, be disturbed, mourn what coulda and shoulda been, whatever you need to do.

Absolutes. You tell me Obi-Wan that only a sith deals in absolutes.

Wasn't that an "absolute" in itself? How could you accuse me of participating in absolutes, as if it was evil, when you yourself have betrayed what you have sworn to serve.

I meant my new Empire. An Empire where the corruption and squabbling of petty officials will no longer allow peoples lives to be in danger. And "your" Republic's elected officials, the ones with whom your allegiance lies, chose to create an Empire out of their ashes.

My loyalty remained where all the Jedi had sworn their allegiance. What it was, changed itself. So why must you attack what has been done? Why abandon all the loyalties that you taught me?

Why allow my beloved wife, who has done nothing more awful than accepted my love, be killed?

Yes I did deal the blow. But it was meant for you. You, who would turn on me, call me lost.

Years ago at the beginning of this war, you told me that I would be the death of you. I promise, your joke will become the truth. I shall be the death of you.

You couldn't even finish me off.

Father, Brother, Master, Friend!

You left me.

To burn.
