Shadows of the night
Harry couldn't sleep, again. Like so often these last months he was restlessly turning from one side to the other. Finally he got up, he wouldn't sleep anyway. So he grabbed his Invisible Cloak and went for another night of roaming the halls.
While he was prepared for Filch or one of his professors or even that damn cat, to catch him; he wasn't prepared for what he was going to see in the following hours.
He was wandering through one of the smaller towers, which wasn't used in at least centuries; that much was obviously by the thick layers of dust everywhere. At first, he was very aware of his surroundings in case the caretaker or worse Snape was going to catch him. But when no one crossed his path for a while and he went further and further into the dark corridors, he became less suspicious. So the nearly missed the soft whispers. By then, he should have turned on the spot and run back to Gryffindor tower.
Of course he didn't, when had he ever left a mystery unsolved? Instead he found himself sneaking trough yet another dusty corridor looking for the source of that mysterious whisper. He hadn't search for long. As he went around a corner, he saw a door slightly ajar, yellow candle light spilled on the floor and the voices became louder. They were familiar but he couldn't quite place them.
He moved quietly closer and finally got a glimpse on who occupied that room. For a moment he didn't believed his own eyes. There where Snape, the most hated teacher at Hogwarts, and Malfoy, the most hated git at Hogwarts, sitting on a big blanket surrounded by candles and what must be leftovers of a midnight snack.
Snape had his back against a wall and Malfoy was resting in his lap. "…I tell you, this must be important. We have to find out what it means." Malfoy sounded quite upset. Meanwhile shoving what looked like a silver bracelet in his teachers face. Snape didn't seem too impressed. He cupped the hand holding the bracelet in his own and said surprisingly gentle: "As I said before, Draco. I will investigate this. But not now." With that he used his free hand to lift the blonds head and covered the pink lips with his own.
All the while Harry was standing outside the room under his Invisible Cloak watching the whole scene and tried to decide if he was totally disgusted or incredibly aroused.
What do you think? Too many mistakes? Is it worth to continue, or should I stop here? Please tell me…
