2 months after Dumbledore's death, Harry was fully prepared for the dangerous quest ahead. With Ron and Hermione by his side, the hope that he will succeed increases. It has already been arranged that Hagrid/Tonks will pick him up from the Dursley's on his birthday at 3 pm, which is only minutes away. Out of respect for Dumbledore's final wishes, he awaits at the house and studies complicated spells that will help him defeat Voldemort.

Dear Ginny,

I know that our last encounter wasn't perfect, but I'm sorry. It has to be this way. It's so hard right now, but I can't risk you. Please understand that I–

Just then, Harry hear a knock on the door. It cant be Hagrid or Tonks, it's too early. Heart hammering, he reaches out for his wand and is ready. He runs down the stairs and sees Dudley open the door. Dudley's face is full of shock and fear and runs away from the door that causes Harry to scream out the first spell that came to mind.

"STUPEFY!" he cried out, pointing to the swinging door. He sees a big bushy beard, and realizes he made a terrible mistake.

"Ow Harry!" Hagrid shouts. "Yeh should watch what yer doin'!"

"Wotcher Harry," Tonks smiled from behind Hagrid.

"You're early," Harry said suspiciously, never letting his wand down.

" We thought it best if we got you out of here as soon as possible, there've been many attacks in this area."

Hagrid added, "Good old Figgs was attacked earlier! She 'adda throw a few cats their way! Crazy old hag she is.." He then pointed out towards the lawn. " We'll be leavin' on thestrals..."

"Where are they?" Harry asked as he walked towards the lawn. " I can't see them."

" 'Ourse yeh can't! Yeh haven't seen death have yeh?" With those words, Harry became full of panic and with one swift movement and the thought of Levicorpus, both the Hagrid and Tonks imposters were hanging in the air by their ankles.

" Where's Hagrid and Tonks? What have you done to them!" Harry shouted.

" Your giant oaf of a friend and my weak little niece are dealing with some friends of mine. By then, we will have captured you !" With those words, she sends Harry flying across the lawn with her wand.
