"Argg!" came a shout.

Tar sat up and looked around for the source of the yell. He saw a good amount of smoke coming from a cauldron a few benches over.

"What did you do this time Ben?" The teacher asked walking towards the growing cloud of smoke. "Oh my!" he said when he had waved the smoke away with his wand.

Behind the cauldron sat a boy, or what used to be one. His ears had grown large and floppy, his nose seemed to have melted away completely, his eyes had become small dots that were barely visible, and his mouth, well now it was mouths, were covering his head where ever there wasn't something else, this included where his hair should have been.

"Didn't I tell you not to taste your potion till after I had checked it first?" the teacher asked.

"Umm," said a few of the mouths.

"Yes," replied a few others.

And the rest snored lazily.

"Well, I think you should go down to Madam Lovegood with a vial of your potion, so she can see what she can do for you. I will examine the potion also to see if I can make an antidote for the potion" he told Ben as he handed him a vial of the potion he had filled while he had given him his directions. He turned to the rest of the class and said, "Class, we'll continue tomorrow with this assignment. You can all thank Ben for being able to leave early."

The class cheered as they packed up their things and began to head for the door.

"Bartar," called to one of the students.

Tar stepped forward, "What?" he asked sullenly.

"I'd like you to clean up Ben's things for him and bring them to the medical wing." he told him as he shuffled papers around on his desk.

"Dad, why do you always make me do this kind of thing? And I told you I wanted to be called Tar, didn't I?" he whined as he headed over to the desk with the still slightly smoking cauldron.

"Because, I don't want you to get in the kind of trouble I got into when I was a boy. And yes, you did tell me. Your mother and I both agree, it's a stupid nickname and we won't call you by it." he told him.

"Fine, whatever." Tar told his father and he left the room.

Further down the hall he saw the picture that he always passed on the way to and from his father's class. It was a picture of his parents and their best friend. There was a small plaque underneath that said, "Even dropout can become great teachers." Then it said each of their names and positions, Neville Longbottom – Potions Master, Ginny Longbottom – Care of Magical Creatures Trainer, and Draco Malfoy – Headmaster.
