"I'm sorry about your shirt." Sora said once their embrace broke.

Riku laughed. "It's ok. Don't worry about it."

"So...uhm...Riku..."

The silver-haired boy smiled. He knew what his friend was worried about.

"Don't worry, Sora. I'm not really comfortable with my dad knowing about us yet either. We'll tell everyone when we're ready."

"Thank-you, Riku."

Riku smiled. Pretending that he just had a crush on Sora was killing him. He loved Sora, but he knew Sora wasn't quite there yet. Riku knew if he shouted "I love you!" like he wanted to that Sora would probably run screaming for the hills. So instead he said...

"Want to kiss again?"

Sora smiled and nodded. Wakka had been right. Kissing did feel nice. It wasn't as awkward as he thought it'd be. The brunette wrapped his arms around Riku's neck again and kissed him. Riku purred softly and snagged one arm around Sora's skinny waist.

"Sora? Riku? Are you there?"

The boys broke apart, blushing. Kairi couldn't see them from the ground but her sudden presence startled them both.

"Yeah! We're here!" Sora replied.

Kairi climbed up the lattice and onto the roof. She sat beside her friends and smiled.

"Is everything ok now?" She asked.

"Peachy." Riku replied.

"Good. I'm glad to hear that."

Kairi suppressed a yawn behind her hand. It was still quite early.

"What time is it?" She asked.

"About 7:30." Sora replied.

"Wow. We got up insanely early."

"Yeah." Riku nodded.

"Well since it's still early and you two made up I think I'll go home. I'm still sleepy. I think I'll go back to bed."

"Okay. Have a good sleep, Kairi." Sora said.

"Good-bye boys. Be good and no more fighting." The girl teased.

"Bye Kairi." Riku replied.

Kairi hugged both of her friends then climbed back down the lattice. Sora shivered. The morning chill had finally gotten to him.

"Want to go inside, Riku?"

"Sure."

The two teens stood up and made their way inside. Riku looked at his shirt and made a face. It looked like someone puked on him now that the pulp was drying and turning darker, weirder colors.

"Uhm..." Sora turned and rifled through his drawers. "Want to borrow one of my shirts and I'll throw that one in the washer?"

"Sure. Thanks."

"No problem."

Riku pulled his shirt off and handed it to Sora. He grinned when he saw a blush come to his friend's cheeks.

"Here." Sora squeaked, handing a shirt to Riku.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome. I'll be right back. I'm going to throw this in the washer."

The older boy nodded and watched Sora walk off. He pulled his friend's shirt on. Riku was taller than Sora but he was just as lean. The shirt fit perfectly. Riku sniffed the shirt and smiled. The fabric smelled like sunshine, grass, and the ocean. It was a clean scent. Sora's scent. The teen sat on the bed and waited for Sora to return.

Sora decided that turning the washer on wasn't a good idea. It'd probably just wake his mother up. Plus using all that water just for one shirt seemed like a waste. So the brunette washed his friend's shirt in the wash basin. He scrubbed, soaped, and rinsed the shirt until every bit of pulp and green color was gone from Riku's shirt. He then wrung the article of clothing out and left the basement. He walked up the stairs to the second level of his home and hung Riku's shirt on the shower rod in his bathroom.

"There we are." He nodded to himself.

Sora left the washroom and entered his bedroom again. He blushed as Riku smiled at him and patted his lap.

"Here Sora. Good boy." He teased.

The younger boy snorted. "I'm not a dog, Riku."

Riku just laughed and Sora pushed him over as he walked by.

"I'm sleepy." Sora said, kicking his shoes off.

The boy pulled his socks off too and climbed over Riku, getting under the covers. Riku smirked, rolled over, and crawled up to Sora. He brought his face quite close to the brunette's. Their noses were almost touching. His smirk grew when Sora's cheeks turned fiery red.

"Is there room for two under the covers?" He asked, pressing a kiss to the tip of Sora's nose.

"S-sure..."

Riku kicked his shoes off and joined Sora under the covers. Sora smacked Riku's hands as they attempted to tickle his ribs.

"No tickling. I don't want to laugh and wake my mother up."

"You're no fun." Riku informed his friend.

"I know."

The older teen chuckled and kissed Sora's cheek. "There's a lot of quiet stuff we could do like...make out."

Sora rolled his eyes. "What have I gotten myself into?"

Riku snorted and pretended to be insulted. "And here I thought you liked kissin' me."

"I do." Sora grinned.

The brunette rolled over so he was half on top of Riku and kissed him. Riku chuckled evilly and rolled them over so he was the one on top. He gently ran his hand up and down Sora's side. Sora made a cute little mewling noise and pawed at Riku's shirt. The older teen decided to risk it and gently licked at Sora's lower lip. The brunette opened his mouth slightly, but Riku's tongue had barely slipped inside when Sora pulled back blushing softly.

"You taste like paopu and lemon." Sora said.

Riku chuckled. "And you taste like strawberry."

The brunette covered his mouth as he yawned. "I'm tired..."

The older teen smiled and stroked Sora's hair. "Then sleep, silly."

"What and have you molest me?"

Riku laughed softly. "I would never molest you in your sleep, Sora. Only when you're awake I will."

Sora laughed too and gently smacked Riku on the shoulder. "Not funny."

"I thought it was pretty funny."

The brunette just shook his head and rolled onto his side, facing away from Riku. The older teen pouted but then Sora snuggled back against him. He smiled once again and hugged Sora close. It wasn't long before the brunette fell asleep. Riku wasn't tired but he was content to lay there and hold Sora, listening to the brunette's slow breathing. Around them the shadows were moving but Riku didn't notice.
