"Would you like to hold your new brother, Riku?" Mileena asked.

"Sure." Riku replied.

Mileena sat up a little bit more and carefully passed Jiro to Riku. The baby awoke because he was being shifted and he opened his eyes. Riku smiled. Jiro had the same oceany aquamarine eyes as him.

"Hi Jiro." He said.

Jiro made a squeaking noise and rubbed his nose with the back of his hand.

"So cute!" Selphie squealed.

Riku's friends and April crowded around him to get a look at the baby.

"Can I please hold him Mrs. Argent?" Selphie asked.

"Me too?" Kairi chirped.

Mileena smiled and nodded. "Yes, you may hold him."

Riku gave his little brother a kiss on the forehead and handed him to Selphie.

"Awwww. Riku loves his brother." Selphie grinned.

"Shut up." Riku replied, sticking his tongue out at the girl.

"He looks like you." Sora whispered into Riku's ear. "He's gonna be cute too when he grows up."

Riku chuckled and gently punched Sora in the side. Jiro went from Selphie to Kairi to Sora and finally to April. Wakka and Tidus decided they were too nervous to hold a newborn baby. The baby didn't really seem to mind being passed around and "aww"ed at. In fact he fell asleep somewhere between being passed from Kairi to Sora.

"Have you gotten a chance to hold your son, Lee?" April asked.

Lee nodded. "Yup. Held him right away. He looks a lot like his brother, doesn't he?"

"Yes he does."

April gave Jiro back to Mileena and she smiled tiredly at her friend. "I probably won't be home until tomorrow, April. Can Riku stay with you for one more night?"

"Sure thing." April replied. "No problem."

It was obvious that Mileena was very tired so the group decided to go.

"Bye mom." Riku said, giving the woman a kiss on the forehead. "See you tomorrow. Sleep well."

"Thank-you, Riku. Be a good boy for April." Mileena replied with a teasing smile.

"Really ma, when am I not a good boy?" Riku chuckled.

The teen said goodbye to his father as well then left with April and his friends. They decided to go on the long walk home together. Riku, Sora, and Kairi walked side-by-side down the sidewalk.

"So once mom and Jiro are home and Jiro is settled in we'll go on our trip." Riku said.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Kairi asked. "Having a new baby is stressful and us going on a trip might be more stressful for your mother."

"Really? I think it'll be easier on her." The silver-haired teen replied.

"I know my life would be easier if Riku was gone." Sora joked.

"Oh ha ha." Riku said, punching the brunette in the shoulder. "I'm sure my mom will be fine, Kairi. It's not like we'll be gone forever either. We're coming back."

"Yeah…I guess…" The girl finally consented.

Once they finally reached home everyone was tired and hot. April made lemonade for everyone and they sat on the Everhart's front lawn to drink it.

"Phew…that was a long walk. It's almost three…" Selphie said, looking at her watch.

"We should set up a sprinkler and run through it." Tidus suggested.

"That sounds heavenly…" Kairi murmured.

April finished her lemonade off and collected the other empty glasses.

"We should go to my house. Our sprinkler is awesome." Selphie grinned.

"Sounds good to me." Riku said.

"Mom, can I go to Selphie's?" Sora asked.

"Sure thing. Just be home for supper." April replied, going into the house with the dirty glasses.

"Let's go then. I'm hot!" Tidus exclaimed.

The friends got up and walked over to Selphie's house. Her mom and sisters were gone so they had the whole place to themselves. Selphie set the sprinkler up and they all ran through it. When everyone was busy Tidus quickly ran home and got some balloons and his water gun. He snuck back to Selphie's house and used a second outside tap to fill some balloons and his gun. He then returned to his friends and winged a balloon at Sora's head.

"Water fight!" He yelled as the water balloon exploded on Sora's head, soaking him.

Selphie detached the sprinkler and sprayed Tidus with the hose. He laughed and ran out of Selphie's range so she blasted Kairi instead. The girl laughed and picked up one of the balloons that Tidus had filled and threw it at Selphie. It smacked into the girl's stomach and broke open, soaking her. The brunette squealed and swung the hose around, spraying everyone. Tidus ran by and squirted Wakka with his water gun. Riku and Sora went about filling water balloons and chucking them at anyone who got too close. The water fight lasted a good fifteen minutes. By the end everyone was drenched and shivering from the cold water. They all sat on the back deck in the sun to warm up and dry off.

"That was fun." Selphie grinned. "And I'm nice and cool now."

"Me too." Sora replied, lying back on the deck.

"What time is it?" Wakka asked.

"Four thirty." Kairi replied. "Good thing my watch is waterproof."

The group chuckled and Selphie stood up.

"Anyone want a sugar-free popsicle?" She asked.

"Do they taste good?" Tidus wondered.

"Amazingly enough, yes."

"Okay. I'll have one then."

Sora and Kairi said they'd have a popsicle as well. Wakka and Riku politely declined the offer. Selphie came back with four popsicles and handed them out.

"For having no sugar in 'em they're pretty good." Tidus grinned.

"Quiet you." Selphie giggled.

Once they were done their popsicles the group said goodbye to each other and headed home for supper. Riku and Sora were still slightly damp as they made their way across the street.

"I'm going to get some clothes from my house, okay? I'll be right back."

Sora nodded and Riku jogged over to his house. The brunette went inside to find his mother on the phone ordering pizza.

"Thirty minutes? Okay." April hung the phone up and looked at her son. "You look wet."

"I am sort of." Sora grinned. "We had a water fight at Selphie's house. Riku is getting clothes from his house right now."

"Glad you had fun." Sora's mother chuckled. "Pizza will be here in thirty minutes."

"Great. I'm starved." Sora replied. "I'm going to change."

"Okay."

Sora peeled his wet shoes and socks off before heading upstairs. He hung his damp clothes over the back of his desk chair and changed into dry clothes. He was about to leave when Riku walked into the room with a change of clothes. He threw his dry clothes on Sora's bed and pulled his shirt off. The brunette's cheeks pinked a bit and Riku chuckled.

"You're such an innocent, Sora."

"And damn proud of it." Sora replied, sticking his tongue out at his friend.

The teens cheeks turned a darker pink when Riku quickly leaned forward and kissed his outstretched tongue.

"Riku!" He exclaimed, scrubbing his tongue with the back of his hand.

"What?" The older teen smirked, unbuckling his shorts and peeling them off.

"You're weird." Sora said.

Riku chuckled again and changed into his dry clothes. "Got a place I can hang these?"

The brunette took Riku's soggy clothes and hung them on the chair with his own. Sora was about to go downstairs when Riku stopped him, gently shutting the door.

"Sora, can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"I was wondering if we could try a different kind of kiss…"

"…What kind?" Sora asked warily.

"A soul kiss."

The brunette's nose wrinkled slightly. "Isn't that where you put your tongue in someone else's mouth?"

Riku laughed softly, "Yeah but I bet it's more fun than you make it sound."

"Mm…I dunno, Riku. No offense but having your tongue in my mouth sounds kinda…gross."

"Well…will you at least think about it?"

Sora's nose wrinkled a bit more as he thought it over. "Yeah, okay. I'll think about it."

"Let me know after supper?"

The brunette nodded and the pair went downstairs to watch TV until the pizza arrived.
