Mahou Bonding

"Another night…" He muttered to himself quietly.

And it was. Hikaru, the mahou sensei to his students, was busy writing in his grade book. The same grade book he used to record the progress that his students were making. And he was pleasantly surprised by how far they have come. Each one was unique in their own ways.

Kai was a quick witted type who always jumped into anything without thinking it through.

Tsubasa, although a bit cynical at first glance, was a rough fighter, which reflected how much he quarreled with his younger brother.

Houka always had a cheerful smile on her face, and it never seemed to fade. She had her ways to keep her siblings' spirits up.

Makito was a passionate man who cared deeply for his family, him being the oldest of his siblings and all.

Urara…the girl who was able to restore him from his frog from with a kiss. He could express her in a number of ways. Intelligent, kind, she had a hint of a motherly nature to her, and she was pretty cute.

"I think I've been in this house too long…" Hikaru told himself. He picked up his cup of tea that was on his desk, and sipped on it.

"Sensei…" He heard a quiet voice say.

"Hm?" Hikaru looked up. "Urara?" The Magician of the Blue was standing there, her light blue pajamas on.

"Can I speak with you?" She whispered quietly. "Please?"

"Of course you may." He stood up slowly, and folded his arms over his chest. "What's on your mind, though?"

Urara sighed before speaking. "It's about my family." She began. "I know Houka is the older sister, but I sometimes feel like I'm older, you know. As in I'm being much more like our mother…"

"I see." Hikaru gave a small nod. "Is there a problem with that?"

"If you may call it a problem…" Urara said, as she walked closer to the desk. "I feel, as though, the others rely on me, and sometimes I feel I can't do the things Mom did for us."

Her explanation earned a look of intrigue from her sensei. He walked over to her. "You do too much as it is." He said, placing his hands on her shoulders. "Besides, I'm your and the others' sensei. I have as much responsibility as you do, if not more. In a way, the two of us are a team."

"I suppose…"

"You suppose?" He rose a brow. "Of course we are." He brushed Urara's bangs away from her forehead gently, her secretly relishing the gentle touches she was receiving. "In fact, I want you to have something."

Urara gave a confused expression. "What?"

Hikaru threw one of his smiles that could make her melt. "Let me show you." Going over to his desk, he opened a drawer, and pulled out a MagiTicket that would be able to summon Travelion.

"No…I couldn't…"

"I want you to have it." Hikaru placed the MagiTicket in her palm, and closed her fingers gently. "If you ever need my help…I'm always here." He leaned forward, and rested his forehead against hers. "Always know that."

"I will. Thank you, Sensei." Urara whispered. Smiling softly, she quietly walked out of the room, knowing she had a more stronger bond with him. Now more than ever.
