A/N: Hey, can you guess what Sirius was doing? I want to see if people catch on.
SOONER OR LATER
"Sooner or later you're gonna hate it
Go ahead and throw your life away." (Breaking Benjamin)
He pushed Sirius. Hard. "You're stupid." he said, voice cold. "You said it was over."
"It is over." Sirius muttered, crossing and uncrossing his arms, running fingers through his hair.
"Are you going to look in my eyes and tell me that?" the other man snapped. When Sirius continued to look away, James grabbed his husband and pulled him into the house, throwing him onto the couch. "I don't know what the hell your bloody problem is. You and these little walks into the village. I know exactly what you're doing, Sirius."
Sirius rolled his bloodshot eyes. "Such a drama queen, James. If it's so bad, divorce me."
James couldn't speak.
"Sooner or later, you're gonna hate it
Go ahead and throw my life away."
He pushed Sirius. Harder. "You idiot." he snarled. "It's my sister's wedding, Sirius. What the fuck is wrong with you?"
Sirius gave a maniac laugh and wiped at his streaming eyes. "I feel so light." he whispered to the mirror. "Light as air. Float away. I feel like floating away."
James slapped him. "Stop it." His voice shook and his eyes were practically green. That had only happened once before. "You fucking idiot. You do this again and I will divorce you."
Sirius cackled. "You couldn't leave me if you wanted to, Jamey." he said in a sing-song voice. "You'd never forgive yourself if you left me. You're fucked, aren't you?"
James swore.
"Sooner or later, you're gonna hate it
Go ahead and throw our life away."
"Sirius, you have to stop." James pleaded. "Didn't you read what that test said?"
Sirius giggled half-heartedly. "What test? Oh, THAT test." Sirius winked. "Jamey, come to bed. I need you to warm me up."
"I told you I won't sleep with you when you're like this." James said softly. "I hate you when you're like this, Siri. Why won't you stop?"
Four months later Sirius gave birth to a baby that didn't breathe.
