The Lost Heir

Privet Drive was silent as it usually was in the early hours of the morning. A light tint of blue was just beginning to rise over the horizon causing the street lamps to dim. Harry Potter, a scrawny boy of sixteen years lay, in bed asleep with his glasses crooked and a potions book lying open across his chest. He had been reading the Snape's old potion book when he fell asleep seeing if there was something that could help him but for the first time the Half-Blood Prince was no use. It had only been three days since Harry had arrived from Hogwarts quiet enough to scare the Dursleys' and always staring at something but not seeing it. He couldn't get the funeral out of his head. Though he probably would never see Hogwarts, again that white tomb was as clear in his mind as his own reflection would be in a mirror. Even though the Dursleys' had been happy when Harry said that he was leaving in two weeks he didn't feel excited about leaving the Dursleys for the first time in his life. Even though he knew he would live at 12 Grimauld Place and that Hermione and Ron would be there with him along with the Order and the Weasleys no one would ever fill that hole the now beared the death of his parents, Sirius, and now Dumbledore. He had tried on the train ride home to convince Ron and Hermione to stay at Hogwarts but Ron said he knew how to apparate and that was enough and Hermione had said that friendship was more important than school, for this once. The white owl named Hedwig hooted softly in her cage as she too slept. The room and house was quiet even though a large black owl was sitting outside the window. It tapped on the glass with its beak and waited patiently. Harry only gave a small snore. The black owl tapped again on the glass even louder and woke Hedwig who hooted irritated at the owl. The owl tapped on the glass again but Harry kept sleeping. Hedwig looked at Harry for a moment then rattled the bars on her cage annoyingly to wake him up. Harry jumped up with crooked glasses and looked at Hedwig.
"What did you do that for?" Harry asked straighten his glasses. The black owl tapped on the window again Harry looked over yawning. HE stared at the owl for a moment then stood up and opened the window. The owl deposited a letter on the sill then turned and flew off swiftly. Harry picked up the letter and looked at the writing on the front.

To Mr. Potter

From: Jinx L.P.R

Harry wondered who Jinx was for he had never heard the name before. HE hesitated opening the envelope because he remembered what had happened when a mysterious envelope had been opened last time. He finally conjured up the courage and opened the envelope to find a normal envelope inside. He took the letter out and opened it up to see small curving handwriting that read:

Dear Harry,

I know who you are but you don't know who I am. I want to tell you some vital information I know about Voldemort that might help you in your situation. I know how to find two of the last four Horcruxes and I will give you the information. We hae to do it somewhere that there is a crowd because I am watched closely and in a crowd I can loose my body guards.

Meet me in the Hogs Head in four days. I will be wearing a black cloak.

Jinx

Harry read the letter a few times wondering whether or not he should believe it.
