Maria was an average girl. She lived her life as a regular teenage girl, high school, family, and the works. She had seen the second movie of the "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy. She had fallen in love with the most unlikely creature imaginable. She fell in love with Gollum, the Stoor who led the hobbits Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee of the Shire all the way from the Dead Marches to Shelob's lair, in the mountains of Mordor.
Walking home from Blockbuster, holding a copy of the Return of the King in her right hand and her keys to her home in her left. She tripped over a small white cat. It sent her falling, plummeting towards the ground...
Instead of concrete, she made contact with earth covered in ash. All around her, the earth was barren, with mountains both in the distance and some close at hand. Closest was a tall mountain, from the top smoke arose. Faintly, in the direction of the smoky mountain, she heard a voice.
"Don't kill us, don't hurt us with nassty cruel steel! Let us live, yes, just a while longer. Lost lost! We're lost. And when Precious goes we'll die, yes, die into the dust. Dusst!" cried the miserable, hissing voice.
"It's my precious," realized Maria. "No! I will save you from the nasty hobbits!"
She ran up the Mountain of Fire, only to fall into a pit. Covered now in ash and dirt, she tried to get out of the ground, but failed. Maria soon heard sinister laughter. She only managed to hear but a piece of their conversation with one another, among this was "...thrak glob u olog..."
Maria soon found herself in a locked room full of creatures much taller than her, covered with horny scales, and endowed with claws, all of which had not eaten yet that day.
"That is ten for today," said a very annoyed hobbit. "Where do these things keep coming from, Master Frodo?"
Frodo looked at Sam and merely shrugged his shoulders. "All that is fully known is that they are an evil far more terrible than the Dark Lord. Remember what happened with the one you released?"
"Aye, sir. It pounced on you like a warg and attempted to take the Ring. Her speech was unclear, but I think she intended to make herself the next Dark Lord. Good thing Faramir was with us at the time, or she might have succeeded."
