A poem about Dick's response to pain. It's quite. . . disturbing. Oh, no, not full of gore and all that stuff. Quite simple and nice, language-wise. But if you read it fully, see how it's kind of like a laughing circus clown chanting in the background. . . See it however you will see it. To me it's sad and rather disturbing. To someone else it might be a fun little nursery rhymes. . . Of course, nursery rhymes are disturbing. . .

Anyhow, reviews are more than welcome! Read, enjoy!

p.s. if you have time to read it a second time, take away the sew them ups and the first five parts actually connect. Oh and also every last word in the last line of one part goes with the third line of the next!

Gashes

All the gashes

Here a deep one

Here it's smaller

Not the soul-

Sew them up

Sew them up

Just the heart

Not so bad

Not so cold

What to do?-

Sew them up

Sew them up

Here, the thread

Not so strong

Not so soon

Even then-

Sew them up

Sew them up

Take the lies now

Try to hate

Try pretend

Use the mask and-

Sew them up

Sew them up

See now –gone!

All the gashes

All the damned

A few months 'till you-

Sew them up

Sew them up

Locked inside

Hide the anger

Hide the clues

Bottled tears, just-

Sew them up

Sew them up
