Carol & Bones are sent to a newly discovered alien planet to explore in the name of science and strengthen the amicable contact with the natives. During their away mission, they get to know each other better and eventually fall in love. (Set post-Into Darkness, during the five year mission. Jim Kirk is a strong man. He could easily handle the orders thrown into the face of every Starfleet captain and the stress of commanding the crew of the USS Enterpise. If only he was strong enough to tell Spock how he really feels.

Post-Apocalyptic AU Leonard McCoy has lost everything with the apocalypse or The Great Catastrophe, as it is called. Two years later he is on his way to San Francisco where Jim Kirk and his friends have found a spaceship. They plan to leave earth but then he encounters Pavel Chekov, a young man who is hiding more secrets than the doctor expects. (McCoy/Chekov & Spock/Kirk)
