Chapter Two

"Dash."

The voice was familiar - dark, sensual, mysterious. Dash had been looking forward to this day, ever since the kiss three nights ago. This was the day where he would meet once again with Phantom and find the answers he so desperately needed.

"Phantom." Dash didn't bother to turn around. Turning around would mean that he would have to submit to the mysterious boy, and he was too strong to take that blow to his pride again. He heard soft footsteps, so soft that they were almost not there. They sounded like the wind brushing against an open window.

Dash sensed Phantom directly behind him, the same distance as the first meeting. The mere closeness made Dash shiver in anticipation and lust.

"Well? Are you going to turn around?" This was accompanied by a soft touch on Dash's arm. Again, on the warm night, Dash had opted not to wear his jacket.

He was glad he didn't. The touch sent a tingle through his body, left him yearning for more.

He settled for turning around. There was a stretched silence as Dash searched the Phantom's catty eyes. The green was so bright it was almost glowing.

"Why?" Dash asked. He knew what he meant, and he knew that Phantom knew what he meant, but Phantom said nothing and remained stoic. Dash couldn't' stand the silence and suspense any longer, so he clarified his question. "Why did you kiss me?"

Phantom still said nothing. Slowly, agonizingly, his pale lips twisted into a smile. "Why?" He began to laugh. It was a soft laugh, not harsh or biting, but almost patronizing. Phantom somehow managed to get closer to Dash and slipped a black-clad arm around his waist. A nearly shining gray glove stroked the side of Dash's face, before pulling him down into a kiss.

Dash tensed at this sudden movement, before relaxing into the ghostly kiss. A cold tongue passed somehow through his parted lips and tasted his mouth. Dash loved Phantom's kiss - the taste, the feeling, and the passion of it. And yet, something about the kiss was empty, lacking, not complete, and left Dash wanting more.

The kiss ended, and Phantom became immaterial around Dash. For a moment, it felt like a billion feathers softly brushing across his body.

A whisper - "Because you're mine."

And that was that.

Dash was left alone, lips tingling from another fiery kiss.

A/N: Thank you all for reading. I know where I'm going with this, but I don't know when the next update will be. I don't think it'll be for a while, though, so bear with me. Somehow, I am going to finish this before the year is up.
