My Dearest Lillian,
You are about to start your final year at Hogwarts, most likely as Head Girl, however, I wish to leave these to you. Enclosed are a few things from when I was a girl at Hogwarts, and also, a copy of Alice Weaver's new book, Hogwarts, A History. I hope you put them to good use. I'll be seeing you soon so we can go and get your school things.

Lily paused to think about what her Great-Aunt could possibly have sent her. Her Great-Aunt Catherine was a muggle born witch, therefore the only magical being in Lily's family; besides Lily that is. She had always been there for Lily, ever since she was four years old, and her father died in the war. Her mother had been working over-time as a medical-nurse, and her Aunt Catherine had stepped in at a moments notice with the death of her nephew.
Lily slowly opened the box her great aunt had sent her. Inside were, as Catherine had said, a copy of Hogwarts A History, and a wrapped package.
Lily carefully tore the paper from the package, and inside, she found a silver cloak.
