Hi! Thanks sooooooooo much for clicking on my story. I really appreciate your time. Anyway, please let me know how I did; reviews are my precious. More to come soon, enjoy!

Diana burst into her room and dived onto her bed. Ahh…pure bliss! After a hard day at school, all she wanted to do was relax a little and breathe. School been really tough these past few days, and she really needed a break. She closed her eyes and rested a few minutes, and then reached her left arm over to her nightstand and grabbed something very firm and heavy and brought it to her bed. She opened her eyes and smiled at the familiar sight in front of her. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, one of her favorite books of all time. No better way to let off some steam!

She opened it to her bookmark and began reading in earnest. Diana had read it before (several times, actually) and loved it a little more every time. Soon the only noise to be heard was the gentle turning of pages and the occasional giggle. She was half way through Snape trying to teach Harry Occlumency when her mother interrupted her by banging on her door, telling her to get up and help make dinner.

Startled, Diana dropped the book and glared at the door. "I'll be down in a second, mom! Let me finish up."

"Diana, what could possibly be so important?"

"It just is! Please mom, five more minutes?"

"Are you reading again?"

"…maybe…"

A sigh, and then her mother chuckled. "Five more minutes, then haul yourself downstairs. No more than that, understand?"

Diana grinned and saluted the door, "yes ma'am!"

She heard her mother walk down the wooden steps, and turned back to her book. Five minutes…that's all she needed. Quickly she opened the book again and read as fast as she could. She must have been concentrating harder than she realized, because for an instant the words seemed to be glowing gold. She blinked, shook her head, and continued reading. A few moments later, it happened again. Diana closed the book and rubbed her eyes. She must be straining them. No more reading for a while. She'd just put in her bookmark and…

The second her fingers touched the pages, the light she thought she was imagining suddenly filled her entire room, blinding her completely. She threw an arm up to cover her eyes and emitted a small shriek before everything became strangely soundless. The golden light was still around her, so she didn't dare open her eyes for fear of her vision being damaged permanently.

Slowly, the light died down to a manageable level, and then left completely. She cracked an eye open to look around, and what she saw made her gasp in shock.

Diana had seen this place before. Well, not exactly. She had seen it in her imagination, but never in real life! She blinked multiple times, but that didn't help any, as she was still – somehow – standing in the middle of a very busy Diagon Alley.
