Ironic
The girl's mother was dead. Her long raven hair lay in clumps as it rested in the growing puddle of crimson
blood. The four savagly cut wounds on her stomach flowed continuously. Deep brown eyes stared emptily into the
oncoming shadows. The woman's killer positioned himself behind a thick based tree as he licked his victim's blood
off of his drenched claws. His amber eyes twinkled as the red liquid slid down his throat.
He slowly stalked off into the darkened forest with his waist-length silver hair flowing freely in the light
breeze. His pink tongue brushed over his canine fangs searching for any flesh that might have gotten wedged in
between. His bare feet halted dead in their tracks as his heightened sense of smell caught hold of the red
beverage that he loved so much. He hoped that it was fresh or was a small defenseless animal.
Rin, the little girl emerged from her hiding place in the hollow oak tree behind her home. Slowly she crept
towards the darkened window. Her waist-length raven hair swayed behind her small form as she peeked through the
half opened window. A slim beam of moonlight penetrated the shadows in the small room, revealing a dark smudge.
Her tiny feet pattered softly on the wooden floor of the one room hut. Rin uttered a cry of surprise as she
tripped over a large cold object that was still engulfed in shadows. When she gathered up the courage to figure
out what this unknown object was, she gradually crawled towards the unseen object.
Her slim fingers danced along the unknown. Rin's deep brown eyes widened in horror as her digits swept over
her mother's delicate features. Her small frame shook slightly as she pulled her knees up to her chin. She
wrapped her small arms around them as hot tears streamed down her paled cheeks. Softly cradling herself, Rin's
siloetted body caught the attention of an unseen predator lurking in the darkening shadows.
The killer was watching the girl from his high perch in an old hollowed oak tree. He'd almost forgotten
about his victim's daughter. He couldn't let an innocent life go unharmed. All his instincts that were ringing in
his head told him to kill. The girl's death would be glorious as he invisioned her warm blood spewing over the
ground.
His sick mind slowly planned out the strategy he would use. His bloodstained lips curved into a crude smile
as he now imagined her blood draining out of the many wounds that would be covering her body. How he would enjoy
slashing her small body into tiny ribbons of flesh.
His thoughts were interuptted by the sight of raven hair flailing behind the fleeing form of the girl "So
you're gonna try and outrun me?... How cute." stated the silver-haired fiend. With one mighty leap he was sailing
through the tree branches. His silver locks soared behind him as he gradually overcame his target. "One, two
Daddy's coming for you, three, four run some more, five, six Daddy's on a slaughter fix, seven, eight I can't
wait, nine, ten beware of the firey pits of the den..." sang the deranged murderer as he extended his razor sharp
nails.
Amber eyes glowed like hot coals as his muscular body came upon the girl. Her shrieks of terror hurt his
sensetive ears, but he kept his nails stuck in her chest. Rin's breathing slowed down as her father's nails clung
to her beating heart. When he was sure that his daughter was dead, he wrenched his hand free as blood started
gushing out. With her heart clenched in his hand he whispered "I hope your happy where you are..." with that
said, he tossed her beating heart into the air and caught it in his mouth as it came down.
His retreating figure was all that could be seen through the oncoming fog.
The End
