The sound of a knock on the door startled Konoka as she busied herself with cleaning. Negi and Asuna were gone and she couldn't remember making any plans for the afternoon. Picking up the plate of chocolates Negi had left behind; she quickly made her way to the door. It was only proper to offer something to her visitor.
Opening the door, she spotted Setsuna and nearly dropped the plate in her hand. "Se-chan!" Quickly remembering her manners, she held the plate in front of her, smiling widely. "Snack?"
Setsuna did not reply, her face frozen in shock. Konoka laughed at the sight, pulling her through the doorway. "Don't just stand there, Se-chan!"
"Yes, ojou-sama." With a nod, she entered the room without another word.
Konoka frowned. She hated the fact that Setsuna used that title to demean herself. This was her oldest and dearest friend and no matter how many years had passed since they had been close, there was no real reason she could see for the use of such formality when they spoke.
Placing the plate of chocolates on the table, she motioned for Setsuna to have a seat next to her. Instead, she seated herself across the table, refusing to look up. Konoka sighed, picking up a chocolate and taking a small bite, wishing her friend would allow herself to open up a bit more. She missed the girl who had always been by her side.
Setsuna carefully set her Yuunagi on the floor, looking up to meet her gaze. Swallowing the rest of the chocolate, she waited for Setsuna to speak.
"Ojou-sama, I apologize for coming by unannounced…"
Konoka smiled despite the use of the formality. "Se-chan, you don't have to apologize. You're my friend." Standing, she felt herself grow slightly dizzy. Holding the edge of the table, she steadied herself. Looking up she met Setsuna's gaze and grinned.
Setsuna froze, her eyes growing wide. "O..ojou-sma?"
Konoka giggled, rushing towards her friend and knocking her to the ground. Setsuna tried to dodge, but only ended up with Konoka gripping her tightly around the waist, nuzzling her lower back. "Se-chan! I love you!"
Setsuna struggled against her grip, but Konoka refused to let go. "I've missed you so much. I just wish you wouldn't call me that."
"That?" The voice came out with a slightly higher pitch making Konoka laugh even more.
"We're friends. You're allowed to call me Kono-chan."
"It..it wouldn't be proper." Setsuna's voice was quieter this time, barely audible.
Konoka held her tighter. "But I hate the title." Setsuna was quiet, though she still moved about, trying to escape the death grip. "Please, Se-chan? For me?"
"Kono-chan?"
Konoka squealed in delight. "Se-chan! I knew you could do it. See? It wasn't so hard. I love you Se-chan!" Setsuna began to struggle even more as Konoka became more and more affectionate.
The door swung open and Konoka barely noticed as Asuna and Negi stood in the doorway with their mouths gaping open. Setsuna called for them to help her but Konoka only laughed harder. She didn't plan on releasing her friend any time soon.

For those of you not familiar with the 54th chapter, Negi left a failed magical experiment in the room, chocolates that made the eater fall in love with the first person they saw. The chapter ends with Konoka squeezing the life out of Setsuna who is trying to get away but failing miserably while Asuna and Negi watch from the doorway.
