It took some figuring out, but I still couldn't place this inside the episodes, so guess it's after Luna turned Senshi and before Minako had her operation.

It was your average day in Tokyo--the Tokyo Tower was being blown up at the same time it was being attacked by hungry monsters. Godzilla was loose again, and another nuclear attack threatened the city. Of course, in the middle of it all were the Sailor Soldiers running around in skimpy outfits like they did every single day. Minako was doing the usual bit about being a martyr and being brave about not getting her life-saving operation. Luna was running around as a little girl in a Sailor Outfit acting like she was born just yesterday when she was transformed, and acting like a 16 year old when she wasn't transformed.

On this day of usual days Artemis was staring out the window at the monster-infested tower and was thinking about how lucky Luna was. She had attained her human form and now was running around and saving the city from all kinds of evil! At least her owner didn't brood and argue about not getting an operation. Her owner didn't have a singing career and had focused her ki enough to help Luna transform at will.

It wasn't fair! He wanted to turn into a preteen who spoke cutely and made useless poses at the enemy. He wanted to do those back flips through the air and do battle like the rest of them. It wasn't fair at all. He was stuck in a lousy hotel room running away from a manager that Minako should have fired ages ago and stuck watching everyone else in the city fight off evil. Well, Artemis wanted to do that too.

He was stuck, most of the time, listening to Minako detail everything that happened. He had to sit like a good little stuffed animal and do nothing! He had enough of that! Why couldn't he fight? Luna, even as a stuffed animal, got to fight off wrong-doers.

But would Minako let him, oh noooo, he might be recognized by Luna and then their cover would be blown or forbid it be that everyone would remember everything about their past. It would be even worse if Queen Beryl found out. Then Artemis would be a liability, Minako had said to him.

Well, Artemis wanted this bondage to be over. He wanted to be dashing. He wanted to throw things at the enemy and be a bit useless. He wanted to be the ever gentle, courageous yet cute and popular, Tuxedo Artemis! (Defender of Justice Extrodinaire.)

And that's when a light flashed over him. He looked down at himself thinking he was a lovely older teenager.

No sooner did he look in the mirror did he realize that he was not much older than Sailor Luna. He gawked in horror at the figure before him. He was a kid! How could he be dashing as a kid? He wanted to at least be a tween.

Turning this way and that he realized that he did have a nice white cape and he had a nice top hat to boot, but the suit needed some improvement. It was a bit stuffy had too many bells to warn the enemy. What was with the suspenders on a tuxedo? Beside the many fashion faux pas Artemis was pretty happy with his human form. White hair (a bit long though--he might be seen as a girl--though this mattered very little considering the cast of the other people he'd seen trolling around Tokyo.)

Artemis struck a pose and admired himself.

"Not Bad," he said.

That's when he realized his voice had gone up at least 2 octaves. But he was a kid. So, now how to defeat crime...
