Hey people! This is my first time ever writing anything so be gentle when you review, but PLEASE REVIEW! I will accept all reviews even critisism, did i spell that right? There are some story endings when kagome goes back to her time and tries to forget InuYasha. This is one of those stories.
Ok, this is just a poem so there won't be another chapter. If you like this I might write a follow up since the ending is so ambiguos. REVIEW!
This poem is InuYasha & Kagome's thoughts when Kagome leaves after they've completed the shard.
The poem starts out in Kagomes point of view.
means its changing to someone elses point of view.
Somehwhere In Time
Come to my window ,baby.
Come to my window.
I'm gonna leave a light on, baby,
But if you come I won't know.
You left me standing here,
I told you to go off on your own.
But now i'm dying here,
I'd forgotten how if feels to be alone.
The time went by,
From days and nights,
To months and years.
Time slowly dried out my tears.
Yet, still sometimes,
Late at night,
I think about the days I spent with you,
And wonder if they were true.
I spend my days waiting where you left me.
Though I know the hours are dead and lonely,
Though I know you'll never return to this place,
I feel that if I wait here,
My heart will cross time and space,
And find it's way back to you.
If only this wishful thinking could be true.
Your angel eyes are locked in my mind.
Whenever I try to start something new,
I think of you,
And break away from the world around me.
No matter how far apart we are,
I'll never be able to let you go.
I think about the days I spent with you,
And know nothing could ever be more true.
I've known all my life of pain and strife.
I know not everything has a happy ending;
sometimes I think I know it all too well.
I knew I'd break your heart,
I knew it all along,
and now I hold the pieces in my soul.
How foolish we were to think,
That we could change our destinies.
Now I hold fast to memories of you,
And wish that wishful thinking could be true.
I see you in my dreams at night.
How quickly tears fill up my eyes,
And hit the ground,
As my heart screams,
And I don't make a sound.
Everyday people say,
Again and again,
That I should just let the past die away.
But I've made up my mind.
There's nothing they can do,
To keep you from being mine.
'Til the sheep in the valley,
Come home, my way,
'Til the stars fall around me,
And find me alone,
'Til the sun comes a singing,
I'll still be waiting,
For you to come back to me again.
It still nearly kills me everytime,
When I remember that look in your eyes,
When you told me you had to let me go.
You taught me what true love was,
And that's why I know,
Someday I'll find you.
Maybe years from now,
Or tomorrow night,
I'll turn and I'll see you,
As if we always knew,
Someday we would live again,
Someday soon.
I'll never stop believing,
Not even for a moment.
And even if I'm wrong,
We'll be together again when we are gone,
Somewhere in time.
