Love Triangle
Chapter 1
It was another beautiful day at Hogwarts. Harry, Ron, and Hermoine were walking down to Hagrid's since it was Saturday. Each was thinking of something different. Harry was of course thinking about the quidditch match the next day, Ron was thinking about Hogsmeade which they were going to visit next weekend, and Hermoine was thinking of, you guessed it, end of the year exams. But as they approached Hagrid's hut one question popped into all of their minds: Why was Hagrid crying?"They killed 'im! THEY KILLED 'IM!" Hagrid cried.
"Hagrid whats-" Hermoine started to ask, but Hagrid interrupted with a half-yell of,
"Norbert….Norbert's dead!" There…I…I said it."
Harry was remembering when Hagrid had gotten Norbert in his first year when Ron interrupted Hagrid with a question.
"Did Charlie tell you?" He wondered, voice curious.
"Yeh. He sent me an owl this morning. Good man, lettin' me know 'bout Norbert…" Hagrid sighed. He spoke again, saying, "They did everything in their power to save 'im. Why 'im? Why'im! He was still a young 'un!"
As Hagrid cried, Harry, Ron, and Hermione decided it was time to leave. As they headed back Harry felt slightly guilty for leaving Hagrid in his time of need, but pushed the feelings aside and continued on.
When they had all reached the Great Hall, Ginny Weasley joined the three friends, just as Harry was explaining his guilty to Ron and Hermione.
"Oh Harry, you're so sen-" Ginny began, but was soon interrupted by Hermione.
"Why don't you guys go to the library or something. Meet you there. Bye." She said, eyes blazing.
The boys ran as Hermione began shouting at Ginny.
"Ginny, why'd you go all googley eyed at Harry? Do you like him?" She asked.
"Maybe, what's it to you?" Ginny challenged.
"But I like him, so you can't!" Hermione told the younger girl.
"But, I've liked him since first year!" Ginny argued.
"Well.., I've liked him since he saved me from the troll, you know!" Hermione exclaimed angrily.
"Well!" Ginny huffed, storming off.
As she watched Ginny walk away, Hermioned muttered,
"This means war."
