T A I N T E D POSSESIONS
BY:
Louisiana-Southern-Belle
The times you
Are near,
Are the times
I hold dear.
Dreary rain
On a cold night
Nothing left,
No one in sight.
Still there's a shadow
Unmoving, unnerving.
Understanding concepts
Of what is left.
Leaving my mind to wonder.
What is it I must possess,
To learn the rest?
Remember to forget.
Learn form regret.
Regret is not a common word heard,
Hence earning a debt we as mortals must pay.
People take away
What nature has left.
Unknowing of what is next.
Now we strain our ears to hear,
Harmoniously you can hear,
Night's breath.
Bathing in purity,
We long to possess,
People will never confess.
Corrupted is the mind when stressed.
Seizing our ears and taking our sight,
Basking in our mourning sight,
Once you realize the beauty around us,
Puts strength within us.
Without we have nothing left.
We weep for breath,
One last chance.
One last indulgence in the night's
Lustful whisper to beauty,
Knowing of what we shall never have.
For the once tainted come to rest,
Mourning is one less,
And dreams claim our last breath.
How I wish to taste indulgence
With foresight mortality will never possess.
For now all we are shown is the
T a i n t e d.
And how it has
Possession.

I hope you enjoyed that! I am sitting at home sick right now with a light fever and a headache. It is not the best feeling! You know there is a way to tell me your opinion about my poem; I think you know what I'm saying….
Please Review to make my day!
