Nine Plus Nine
His nametag read Jeff. Bold black letters on a white plastic strip. "Gary's Butcher Shoppe" it said; the last two letters blacked out with permanent marker. Even a high school dropout could see the redundancy.
Jeff stepped out the back door into the alleyway. He puffed on a cigarette as he leaned against the cool brick wall. "Where to go this time?" he pondered. He didn't think his boss would be rehiring him anytime soon.
He took off the bloody butcher's apron, tossing it on the ground with a few bucks. "That meat grinder'll be needing cleaned."
The boy walked off, smiling at the screams escaping Gary.
Gracias to my one reviewer of Nine, cptn-jacks-bonnie-lass. I really wasn't thinking about writing more to this, partially because I thought nobody would read it. But you know Sands, he's been a very bad boy as of late. He won't leave me alone! Which is perfectly fine by me...
Please leave me reviews, critisism, suggestions, anything...it makes me feel all special.
