I will never forget that smile
On her face that was ever-fair
For I have endured many a great things
That one should never have to go through
She was a lady of the forest-green
Her eyes glowed a bright emerald
Alas, I shall never see that maid again
For I am forever wandering in darkness
That day will always be there in memory
A time of light and no dispair about
But, darkness came into those hours
And so this is my Ballad of the Lost One.
