Kagome brushed her long silky mane off her shoulder and inspected herself in the bathroom mirror.

She smoothed her green uniform skirt and was gliding some clear lip gloss on her narrow lips when Inuyasha swung the door open.

He groaned and rolled his eyes at the image in the mirror.

" Come on Kagome you look fine." He muttered as he grabbed her hand.

" Okay... Okay... I'm going!" She resisted but realized it was no use.

While he lead her out she grabbed her brown worn saccule that laid limp on his coat hooks and pulled it over her shoulder and allowed Inuyasha to tug her out the door.

She listened to her feet pattering in a rhythm while it hit the concrete.

When she reached the car at the end of the drive way she pulled the heavy car door open, threw her only item in the back and plopped in the passengers seat.

While Inuyasha fumbled with the keys and finally entered the car key into the ignition.

A little after Inuyasha pulled out the drive way she couldnt help but stare at his face.

His gleaming sun golden eyes as he wacthed traffic.

His soft cloudy white hair as it moved in unison with the wind like doves traveling in the sky.

'What is happening?' She thought. ' Why am I feeling this way for inuyasha?' Her face twisted at the thought.

"Something wrong?" He asked looking at her curiously.

"No just wondering about stuff." She stared blankly at the passing cars next to them.

"About what?" He smiled as he looked into her sparkling cerulean eyes.

She felt so warm. Her heart was racing, her head pounding. Her stomach was filling with butterflies and she felt like her lungs wouldnt allow her to breath.

Then when he held her hand she entered reality.

" Uhhh... Watch the road, come on just focus on going to school we're gonna be late anyways." She could tell he wasn't buying it, they've been best friends for years and all her friends knew the last thing she ever cared about was school.

The car ride was quiet the whole way and the awkward silence was killing Kagome.

But it was better than trying to hide from one of your best friends that you might have feelings for.

But in a desperate attempt to save herself from boredness she flipped on the radio but to her surprise ' I wanna lick your pussy, pussy' was playing, but before she could hear any more she slammed the off button.

Her faced drained of color and she avoided looking at Inuyasha the rest of the way.

When they pulled up to the school parking lot Inuyasha dropped Kagome at the front with Sango and Miroku while he went to find a parking space.

"I need to talk to Sango." Kagome grabbed Sango's arm and pulled her aside.

"I think I might like... Inuyasha" She whispered panickly.

" Really!" Sango's eyes danced at the thought.

"SHHHHHHHHHHHH!" She slapped her hand across Sango's mouth "Sorry."

"I don't want anyone to know, since I'm not sure myself" Kagome exclaimed.

"Ohhhh, I got ya keep on the D L." Sango turned towards Kagome.

"Uhhh D?L? You have been wacthing to much gangsta movies lets go." Kagome said, pulling on her hand.

"Hey! Wait!" Inuyasha yelled while he hurried across the street.

Kagome anxiosly waited, straining herself from wanting to jump through an open class window.

When Inuyasha got to her which felt like a century in her mind he suddenly wrapped his arms around her in a quick freindly embrace and smiled down at her.

"See you in biology." He yelled as he dashed through the Hikaku high doors with Miroku.

Kagome stood still speechless and motionless from the encounter. He had no idea what that simple hug did to her.

"Weird." Sango finally broke the cursed silence.

"Yeah I know, it's weird to like someone you've known since you were in diapers. " Kagome huffed under her breath.

"No. The fact that Miroku didnt touch any of OUR private parts in that time period." Sango laughed.

"Your a dork." Kagome joined with her in laughter.

All through out the day all Kagome could think of was Inuyasha and biology class which she had last.

Her heart beat faster and it felt like it was going to leap out of her throat. All she wanted to do all day was talk to him.

But in the back of her mind she felt like even liking him was a little uncomfortable.

She use to bathe with him when she was little for gods sake. Though being near him and touching him felt so right. Thinking about or talking about in that way it didnt feel like any other crush ever had.

When biology finally began she placed her seat in the back next to Sango. But her heart sank when she realized Inuyasha hadn't arrived yet.

"Who are you looking for?" Sango teased while she nudged her on the shoulder.

"Uh I'm not looking for anyone, I was just mindlessly looking around." Kagome stammered as Sango continued to eye her suspicously.

Suddenly the door flew open and Inuyasha came jogging through it, smirkling devilishly.

"Well Mr. Takahashi, do you realize how late you are?" The biology teacher asked as he glared at him.

"Uhh about five minutes." He replied as he dropped his books on his desk next to Kagome.

The teacher's eyes narrowed as he scribbled on his clip board.

"One more tardy and expect to be joining me in detention for the rest of the week." The teacher explained.

"Get to the point where I care." Inuyasha retorted sarcasticly.

"Inuyasha..watch your mouth. At least for once." Kagome whispered as Inuyasha continued to have a glaring contest with the teacher.

"Feh, then he should watch his mouth. That teacher is getting on my nerves." Inuyasha scoffed.

"Whatever." Kagome decided to just give up as she turned her attention unto the teacher.

"How could I like someone like that?" Kagome mumbled under her breath.

He glanced at her from the corner of his eye and noticed something was bothering her.

He grabbed her arm, jerking her out of her thoughts as he stared deeply into her cerulean eyes.

She felt her heart leap into her throat, and the moment seemed like a small eternity.

"You mad? Don't be mad at me baby." Inuyasha joked, instantly shattering the moment.

"Mr. Takahashi, Ms. Higurashi, would you like to be spending the rest of your evenings with me?" The teacher asked scornfully.

"I don't care." Inuyasha muttered as he sat back in his chair.

"No! I can't get detention!" Kagome shouted, making everyone turn to stare at her strangely.

"Um .. uh I have a ..pets appointment and she's really sick and...okay.. I'll just shut up now." Kagome mumbled as a small blush stained her cheeks.

Call her a goody good, but the thought of having a detention was horrorifying.

"Kagome your such a goody good." Inuyasha chuckled as Kagome spun around and shot him a glare.

"Shut up! I am not." Kagome scoffed.

'How could I be in love with a jerk like that? Wait love? When did that come in?' Kagome thought as she turned to look at him from the corner of her eye.

Suddenly she got lost in his handsome exterior.

Gazing into his endless golden orbs.

'Oh God.' She thought to herself as she turned away 'I've gone poetic.'

'Whats happening to me?' She panicked sinking her face into her palms, trying to rest her endless thoughts.
