He wonders if it would have been different if he had not been Alfons.
He wasn't much for wishing for things that he couldn't have, but maybe if it was different he might have been seen as himself and not a reflection. At least he was seen by him even if it was only to be a copy. He didn't mind after awhile especially when he thought of what would happen if his name hadn't been Alfons. He didn't think he could handle being called that if it wasn't really his name.
What exactly is in a name that makes it so special?
