Phone Call

Summary: (oneshot)Yami is away on a trip...Anzu is waiting for him to call...What happens? Read and Review.

(Anzu POV)

It's late...the phone rings. I answer it. He speaks "hey" he says "hey" I say back. "How you been?" he asked me. "okay...I miss you." I respond. He says "Same Here."

"How long will you be gone?" I ask him. He says he dosen't know but he also says he'll be back as soon as possiple. Why did he have to leave me? I thought. He's been gone for two months now. I remember the day he left...the day he went to New York.

(Flashback)

(normal POV)

"When will you be back?" Anzu asked sitting on the couch. "Don't Know." Yami said sitting next to her. "When do you leave?" Anzu asked "Tomorrow morning." Yami said answering Anzu. "I'll miss you." she said "I'll miss you too." Yami said then they looked into each other's eyes. They both blushed a little and leaned torwards each other...finally their lips touched. Anzu had tears falling down her face.

They stopped kissing and Yami whiped Anzu's tears and pulled her into a warm embrace. "I'll call you whenever I can." Yami said Anzu nodded. "I'll be waiting." she said with a smile.

(end flashback)

(Yami's POV)

"Anzu." I said a little worried she didn't speak for a few minutes. "Yeah?" she said back. "Nevermind." I said I heard a voice at my door. I knew it was Yugi he had traveled with me.

"Yami...it's time for your meeting." he said I said okay and spoke into the phone. "Anzu I have to go." "Oh...okay" she said. "Bye...I love you." I said...she said "yeah...bye...love you too." They hung up.

(Anzu's POV)

After I hung up the phone...I got my jacket and went to the door. It was sad...not having my Yami around.
