"Just checking. So, miss me?"
"Yes, and you?"
"Um, yeah, but it'd be nicer with you here, Carter."
"Weekend's coming. Be patient, General."
"Hey, patience's my middle name."
"I thought it was James."
"Funny."
"I thought so."
"So'd I miss anything 'side's the Baal triplets debut?"
"Well, sorta."
"Sam?"
"Agent Barrett asked if I was single again."
"For crying out loud, will that man ever give it up!"
"Now, Jack—"
"But you emphatically told him, no, right?"
"Not exactly." Yep, that'd get arise out of him. She smiled into the phone.
