Chapter 1
Kyo awoke to the sweet aroma of something nice cooking downstairs in the kitchen.
'What is Tohru doing up so early?' He thought to himself.
He swung his legs off the side of his bed scratched his head and stood up. Kyo caught a glance of himself in the mirror.
'Probably should get dresses before Tohru sees me like this!' he thought to himself
Kyo walked over to his wardrobe and pulled out a fresh top and a fresh pair of jeans, and proceeded to make his way to the bathroom. As he got closer and closer to the bathroom door he heard would he could make out to be Shigure singing in the shower.
'Damn dog what is he doing up so early? He is probably just awake for the food!' Kyo thought to himself angrily
"Hurry up and get out would you!" Kyo bellowed to the door
"I am going as fast as I can!" Shigure answered in a singing voice
'That puppy is way too happy!' Kyo thought to himself.
"Stuff it I will just put some deodorant on and comb my hair!" Kyo said to himself as he made his way back along the landing to his bedroom. He slapped on some aftershave and rolled on some deodorant and made his way down the staircase towards the kitchen. He walked into the kitchen and was awoken up even more by the sight of Kagura in the kitchen hard at work.
"What are you doing here?" Kyo asked in a growling manner.
"Well…." Kagura began
"Tohru isn't feeling very well this morning and she asked if I could fill in here while she got better and I agreed!" Kagura smiled as she wiped pancake batter off her cheek with her apron.
"why didn't anyone tell me Tohru wasn't feeling well?" Kyo asked with his anger levels rising
"Well why would you care, I thought you didn't like Tohru?" Kagura answered smugly.
"I…..I…. just do ok, is that such a big deal?" Kyo bellowed
"Ooooohhh, is someone in love?" Kagura said with a smirk on her face
"What do you care?" Kyo snapped and run upstairs into Tohru's room.
He arrived outside Tohru's door and knocked gently on it.
"Come in." Came a soft and week voice from within the room
cough, cough
"Oh, good morning Kyo. Sorry I am not down stairs doing my job I am not feeling very well this morning, I am sorry!" answered Tohru as tears started running down her cheeks.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to say sorry for everything!" Kyo said angrily
"I am sor… I mean ok." Answered Tohru
