My first song-fic. It's about when Aragorn was a lone ranger out in the wilderness, and before all the stuff with Gollum and the Ring started. Like I said my first song-fic. Kind of pointless...I just wanted to tryto do a song-fic. Please R&R!

The day had been uneventful. Aragorn, son of Arathorn took his life as a ranger of the north. He shunned his bloodline in shame of what Isildor; former high king of Gondor had done that kept the evil in Middle-Earth. Being the skill-full ranger he is, he managed to hunt one rabbit for his dinner. The sky was already darkening as he sat down and slowly cooked the rabbit after he skinned it. Eating the well deserved supper; he thought of his bloodline...how it was him that shunned the throne.

He thought of his ventures more down south near Rohan. The men he had been around had been talking of Gondor and its news not knowing that the heir of the throne was amongst them.

He soon went to get his bedroll to go to sleep. His life had been troublesome, filled with grief of the abandoned throne of Gondor.

In his mind, there were only two choices that he could truly become. One there was re-claiming the throne of Gondor and reunite the race of the Men of Gondor while knowing that he, having the same blood of Isildor could destroy Gondor with the power. Then two, he could live his long life in exile and travel with the Dunedain of the North.

Many had thought the line had simply ended. While he, Aragorn, Ranger of the north had proven them wrong.

He really didn't know where he was going to end up in the history of Middle-Earth. Will he be known as the lost heir? Or will he end up as the all powerful king of Gondor?
