Summer requested Luna/someone who wasn't Harry, and this is what she got.
"You went to the Yule Ball with Padma Patil." Luna stated simply.
Padma had complained quite a lot about Ronald's behavior the night of the Yule Ball. Said he was hung up on Hermione Granger.
Luna had talked to Hermione before. She didn't care for her at all. Apparently, Hermione thought very little of her Crumple-Horned Snorkack theory when Luna had explained it to her last year.
Really, Padma had been rather disappointed that she had ended up Ronald as a date at all; she said so before they even went. And when she came back that night, she gloated about how right she turned out to be. But then, she had met that Beauxbatons boy, so Luna didn't see what she was griping for.
"Yeah, I know I did." Ronald replied, staring at her as if just noticing her. She didn't mind, most people tended to do that a lot to her. Luna thought he also looked mildly irritated. Sometimes it only took the silliest thing to get people riled up.
"She didn't really enjoy it much," She voiced her thoughts, it was rather rude when someone held what they were thinking in, and Luna certainly didn't want to be rude. "She doesn't think you treated her very well, because you wouldn't dance with her. I don't think I would have minded. I don't like dancing very much." And really, Luna thought, bringing The Quibbler back up to read, she didn't think she would have minded Ronald asking her to go either.
