On the Outside

Lost, broken, hopeless, and lonely. Those were the thoughts running through his head as he jumped in the dark, and off the cliff that had been his hide-away for so long. His enemies would remember a boy that would always yell about not losing to them. On the inside it made them smile, they used to be like that. But his teacher, his team, and his sensei would remember the days he confined in them. He would confine to three, the deadly in his head. The thoughts of death and pain. The other, Sakura, didn't listen. She only had eyes for Sasuke.

On the days he did confine in them he would always say, "I try to look like I'm ok, but my faith is wearing thin. Maybe it would be better if I wasn't here." As he fell he felt a presence stir inside of him them he had since he was a kid. It was thee reason that everyone hated him. Kyuubi was distressed.

"I'm sorry…" said the lone figure. As he fell farther he felt a chakra approaching quickly, it was also one he had known for awhile. Sasuke looked at the boy with concern mixed with a bit of anger. He grabbed the other and made a few hand seals. They reappeared on the hill they had both just left.

Sasuke put his hand on the other boy's shoulder and said, Don't do that. Sometimes life can be horrible, but it's always worth living. I know life is full of hate, but it always has room for life and friendship. If you hate it, fine. Kill yourself, we will miss you though. If you don't kill yourself we could always help you. Death won't bring relief, it will bring regret."

As a new day dawned so did life for to lonely kids and a rare type of friendship that would be hard to break.
