NOT THE WATCH!

"She took it, Al. I know she did. I bet she took it apart!" Ed panicked, running around Winry's room at the Inn, throwing things aside, searching high and low for his watch.

"Brother, you're probably over-reacting. She wouldn't take it…" Al said, moving aside as Ed tore the bed apart.

"I am NOT…" He said, looking around. They had to be going soon, and he couldn't find his watch.

"Did you check our room, brother?" Alphonse asked, looking around.

"Of course, Al! Do you think I WANT to look in here? It's Winry's room, keep watch, tell me if she's coming back or not…" He said pushing Al outside of the door, closing it slightly, continuing his search. Her suitcase! Ha! He opened it and began throwing her clothes all over the room, searching frantically for his watch. He knew she took it, he was sure of it. Where else could it have gone?

"Ed…" Al hissed, opening the door. "ED! I THINK SHE'S COMING!" He whispered closing the door again, and looking at the stairs.

"Al, what are doing outside my room?" Winry asked, hands on her hips.

"Nothing, making sure…no one…robbed you…" He lied, stepping aside.

"Sure…" She opened the door, staring in horror at Ed, who stood there, her bra in his grimy little boyish hands.

"EDWARD ELRIC!" She screamed, marching towards him and pointing at the garment. "What do you think you're doing?" She asked, glaring at him.

"What? Oh…AH!" He threw it, shaking his head. "That's not what you think, I was looking for my watch…" He said backing up against a wall.

"This?" She held the dangling silver pocket watch up in front of him. "I went and had it cleaned…you short little pip-squeak!" She hissed. "But now…" She threw it hard against the wall.

"GAH! WINRY! NOT THE WATCH!" He begged, watching helplessly as it broke and busted in her anger. He grabbed for it, but she pulled it away.

"Now, I can see what's inside of it, then I'll fix it…I hope you learned a lesson, Ed…" And with that she turned marching out of her room to go 'fix and study' his watch.
