Quiet Love
He could never have her.
He could never hold her.
He could never tell her how he feels.
Otherwise, they might use her.
Otherwise, she'll get hurt
All he could do was keep quiet,
And tell her nothing
Never tell her his feelings
For, he could never have her
He could never hold her.
She stayed in the dark,
And it hurt her
She didn't understand,
And she wanted to
She wanted him,
But could never have him.
He was here and gone
Before she could say anything
It hurt her
But she knew, she could never have him
She could never hold him
She would always stay in the dark
It broke his heart to do this
To see her pain expression
Her broken heart,
But he knew he could never have her
He knew, he could never hold her
He knew he had to leave her in the dark
So he could keep her safe
Ed knew, he could never hold Winry
And it hurt him more then anything
