AN: This is my first fanfic in over two years; I haven't been able to update my other story due to writer's block for the plot of the story and because I haven't had enough time to do any writing. So I've come back with a different story and a completely different plot but more based around Harry, instead of a generalised plot. Well here is the story.

Harry Potter and the Tale of Unseen Magic
Chapter 1 – Privet Drive
The day was like any other day for in the height of summer, scorching hot and very humid. Not good for a person who is replanting and un-weeding the garden, but this was what this one person had to do otherwise they would not get any food for that evening.
This person was Harry Potter, who at this precise moment was panting from sheer exhaustion, a young boy who will be starting his seventh year of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Harry looked up to the sky and saw that it still had no cloud in the sky.
'I wonder when it will rain' Harry wondered thinking. There currently was a drought in Surrey due to there not being any rain for about a month, but the Dursleys insisting on watering the lawn in both the back and front garden, had a beautifully green lawn compared to the rest of the garden in the street whose lawns were burnt.
But as Harry was wondering this, the clouds seemed to have hurried overhead and opened up as the rain suddenly came down in thick force. Harry couldn't see anything ahead of him, thinking this was weird as it came so suddenly hurried into the house and got his wand from his bedside table and ran back outside.
All of a sudden Harry bent over in the grass clutching his scar, screaming with the pain, he didn't notice that about fifty black cloaked figures were coming towards him, the pain had subsided but he had blood dripping down his face as the scar had opened up. Harry looked up, saw the figures and noticed he was outnumbered, ran into the house, locked the door and walked into the living room where the Dursleys were currently having dinner while watching television.
Vernon Dursley looked up and saw Harry looking drenched and panting very hard and shouted, "What have you done now, boy".
Harry said "Death Eaters are outside, we have to leave now!"
"I'm not leaving here, we are safe remember, as long as you are in the house. Don't tell me that you were outside when you saw them" Vernon calmly stated then shouted.
Harry ran out of the room to his room, looked in his desk drawers for a piece of parchment and a quill, he wrote a quick note. He looked out the window and saw that the Death Eaters were walking along the road; obviously they couldn't see into the house due to the protection, he tied the letter to Hedwig's leg. Harry decided that he shouldn't put Hedwig out his window incase the Death Eaters saw Hedwig and let her out of the window in Dudley's room.
