STORY: Joey the dog.

Chapter: 1

Summary: what would happen if Joey were to be a dog? Well he seemed to have turned one during the night! Fun story I guess…. Enjoy!

Joey was turning and tossing in his sleep, he was having a nightmare. He was being deprived of his food. That good for nothing Kaiba was taking it away from him. Kaiba was saying that dogs only ate dog food.

And so Joey bit him.

And then the most unusual thing happened to Joey.

He started to go all furry. His back feet were becoming shorter and his front feet were becoming longer. He dropped on all fours, he moaned, but it sounded more like a growl.

And Seto looked at him one last time and said: "this is how you should be, mutt."

Joey was now a dog.

Joey woke up, screaming.

But no, it sounded more like a bark. He looked down at his hands; every-thing was in black and white.

And his hands…..they were….furry….

Joey howled as he realised.

He WAS a dog!

He leapt up, well as up as he could be. He started to whimper. When his nose picked up the smell of…pizza…

Joey leapt of his bed, running for the food source.

He ran out on the street lifting his nose in the air, he liked his new form…. Being a dog suited him VERY well!

He ran, and he ended up at Yugi's house, the smell was coming from inside, so Joey sat down on the doorstep whimpering softly.

There was a sound of movement inside the house and lights turned on.

Joey started whimpering louder.

Yugi opened the door.

"Oh look! A puppy!" he said delightedly.

"Oh you are cute aren't you? Yes you are!" said Yugi going all coochy coo.

Joey didn't mind, just so long as he got food.

Grandpa came down the stairs looking tired.

"Yugi, why is there a dog?" he asked.

"Because we are adopting him!" said Yugi.

"….okay" said grandpa and went back upstairs and went to sleep.

"You can sleep with Yami and me!" said Yugi excitedly. This worried Joey slightly. But still, at least it was where the food source was.

Joey happily followed Yugi up the stairs.
