Hello all. I thought I'd try my hand at poetry today. I don't know if it's any good, I don't do this very often, and when I do, its haikus. So, if I mess this up, Sorry in advance.
Do I have to do the disclaimer? Well, you already know I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh, so does it matter?
I Don't Understand
I don't understand his softness
I don't understand his fears
I don't understand his politeness
I don't understand his tears
I don't understand his caring
I don't understand his silence
I don't understand his pensiveness
I don't understand his patience
I don't understand his submission
I don't understand his shame
I don't understand his pleasure
I don't understand his pain
But, I don't want to
Why would I?
I hate him
That you can't deny
But he doesn't care
Why doesn't he?
When I come at him,
He should stand and flee
But he never does
Why does he just sit there?
Fear evident in his eyes
Knowing I don't care
I don't understand him
Not one bit
But he knows about me
If only a part of it
And I still don't understand him
No matter how much I try
I never seem to gain anything
And I have to guess a lie
But I don't care
That I don't understand
Because he does
And I don't understand
Any better than I did
