Summertime Getaway

Ch.1 It's Summer!

Conan stared at the clock, come on, come on, he thought. The sooner the bell rings, the more time I have to find those two men who poisoned me. BRING! Every kid jumped from there seat and ran for the door. There were cheers of happiness for summer break. After kindly refusing Amy's offer to go to the park and play, Conan rushed home.

"I'm home," Conan yelled to nobody. Rachel wasn't home and Richard was fast asleep. Conan sat down and watched TV for a little while until Rachel walked in. She scolded her dad to wake up while she started dinner.

After a little while Rachel called Conan and Richard to dinner, Conan came right away where as Richard was once again asleep.

"Dad, Dad! Dinner is ready!" Rachel yelled at the top of her lungs.

"Finally something to eat, I am starving," Richard complained. "O yeah, I got us three tickets on a cruise to Coral Beach from an old client." Richard unexcitedly said.

"No way, my friend went there last year and said it was the best!" excited Rachel said. "Hey Dad, what is on the cruise anyways?"

"I dunno, here is the brochure," he handed the information to her. It included a spa, a professional masseuse, a kids' room, and a pool!

"Hey Conan, look they have a kids room with so much to do!" Rachel said excited for Conan.

"Wow heh heh, that is neat," He laughed nervously. Dang it! I will have to be there the whole week, but poor Rachel does need a break, Jimmi thought. "I wanna go!" He forced himself to say. To bad I won't have time to look for those guys in the black.
