Once Percy met Oliver when he was buying himself a new quill at Diagon alley. They walked into a café and talked to each other for the first time in a long while. Oliver told Percy he was currently in the Puddlemere United reserve team and asked if Percy was willing to see him practise. Percy answered 'yes' because he felt like he wanted to see Oliver more often.
"That's strange," Oliver said as they left the café. "Percy Weasley is going to watch something as boring as Quidditch"
"Oh, well. I did watch it at the Quiddicth World Cup. It's not that boring, really"
"You could've been a good seeker, you know"
"Let's not go there. When I was younger Fred and George wanted to use me as their snitch..."
Oliver laughed and that... that single thing made Percy smile. Oliver laughing. It had been too long since he had heard it. Oliver watched Percy curiously, then patted his shoulder and said:
"It was nice seeing you again, Perce"
"It's Percy, thank you very much," Percy replied.
"I know. But you're cute when you cringe at 'Perce'," Oliver answered with a grin.
"Whatever... Ollie"
"Hey! That's against the rules..."
Percy shook his head and started walking again. Oliver followed him. They made each other feel better, no matter what. Even if their world would have been falling apart, they would have seen comfort in each other's eyes.
"If that's not love," Percy though. "Then I don't know what is."
