Chapter 1: The Dream

"Harry, wake up. Harry wake up! We are going to be late!" Ron tried his best to wake Harry up. Becoming frustrated, he began to leave without him.

"Mate, will you really leave me like that? And why you have to interrupt my dream? And just when it was getting good! What the heck you do that for?" Harry said.

"HARRY! DID YOU … DID YOU HAVE A D-D-DREAM? ABOUT YOU-KNOW-WHO?" Ron screamed. " I thought you said Snape did not need to teach you Occlumency anymore! You said that Snape thought you were perfect, and didn't need anymore training!"

"Ron, don't tell Heromine, she'll freak out. She will never let me hear the end of it. Okay, my dream was about Voldemort and me. So (Long story short) Voldemort told me that I should just join the dark side. Because if I don't I'll never survive. And Ron, I actually think I, Harry Potter, was about to give in!"

"So, Harry want did you do!"

"Well, … I would have known if ONE OF MY BEST MATES DID NOT WAKE ME UP!"

" Sorry!"

"Harry, come here now!" Heromine yelled, "You wont believe this! You've got a letter from…"

"… Sirius! Harry, it's from Sirius!" Heromine proudly announced.

Without hesitation, he bust through the door, (in his pajamas) and down the Common Room steps. He tore the letter out of Heromine's hand, and stare at it for what seemed like five minutes. 'Could this be true?' Harry thought, 'Am I still asleep, dreaming, soon to awake and lose all my hopes of hearing from my deceased godfather?'

Ron, (fully dressed) came running down after Harry. " Harry is it true? Can it be possible? How can it with Sirius d-d-dead?"

"Ron, would you shut-up? I just got the letter. Gosh!" Harry did not know to open the letter or not. Sirius is dead. Ron is right, how could he write to him. Harry himself saw him die. Well this is it … the moment of truth. Harry slowly put his hand on the seal.

"Harry don't! It could be from a Death Eater, just don't. Let's take it to Dumbledore first." Heromine beg.

"Heromine, I don't remember this letter being addressed to you, Ron, or Dumbledore, so get away!" Harry said coldly. Harry opened the letter and saw to his surprise …

He saw…Sirius's handwriting:

"Harry don't give in no matter what happens.

He can't do any thing with me, I'm safe.

Just don't give in you are our only hope.

Remember, No Matter WHAT!"

"Harry, what does it say?" Harry showed them the letter and tried to take this all in.

'So, Sirius knows. Who else knows? But does he really mean Lord Voldemort and my dream? It really is not like Sirius to write so little when I'll never be able to see him again.'

" Harry. Harry! What is he talking about? There is something you are not telling me. Harry!" Heromine yelled.

"Harry, mate, you might want to tell her." Ron said, sounding scared. When Harry turned around he saw what looked like a Heromine on crack. Her hair was everywhere. It was like Heromine slipped out and someone – no something else slipped in … a monster! This was not the girl he adored, admired, and listened to. Heromine was gone and maybe, never to be found again.

"Heromine," he started. " I have something to tell you. When I said that Snape did not need to give me Occlumency lessons. He kind of gave up on me." So Harry explained his dream to Heromine. And he got the usual 'Harry this is serious! You need to tell Professor Dumbledore."

Harry instead that this was just one of those things that will just go and disappear and have no side effect. But how wrong he was!
