A Very Unusual conversation

Or A Pre-Twilight Drabble Involving Kate And Abby

A/N: My friend and I were discussing this while watching the Phantom of the Opera. Many laughs were had on our part, and we hope on yours.

"Hey Kate, have you seen the Phantom of the Opera? Movie version, I mean." Abby's question surprised Kate. Admittedly, it was a slow day, but this was random, even for Abby.

"Yes, Abby, why?" Kate answered warily. She really wasn't sure why Abby was asking, nor was she sure she really wanted to.

"I was thinking about if we could put that on here." Abby smiled brightly, and continued on. "I mean, Gibbs should totally play the Phantom, I mean, he's got the whole creepy vibe going on."

"Try telling him that. I'd love to see it. From a security camera, of course. And with earplugs." Kate snickered. Abby shook her head.

"I like my job, Kate, I'm not stupid. Do you think Palmer or McGee would do it?" Abby asked. Kate was trying to figure out if the lab tech had breathed at all during the statement.

"Possibly Palmer. McGee, no. Do I even want to know who you picked for Christine?" Kate asked.

"I was thinking Tony for the Raoul. McGee and Palmer for Firmin and Andre, obviously."

Kate looked at Abby. "But who did you pick as Christine?"

Abby ignored her. "I think I'd play Meg. Ducky as Lefarve, I guess. We could get the receptionist as Carlotta."

Kate glared at Abby. "Abby…"

Abby ignored her again. "Boss-man would probably want Ari as Joseph Buquet."

Kate snorted. "And really hang him." She raised an eyebrow. "And Christine…"

Abby smiled sheepishly. "You, Kate."

"Abby, ew! I'd have to kiss Gibbs!" Abby snorted evilly. Kate spun around.

"Hi, Tony."

"I think Abby has a good idea." A splat and splash.

"Kate, I was going to drink that!" Abby said indignantly.
