"Written in Blood"

Note: Okay, this just came to my head and I had to write it. I do not own Inuyasha. If I did Inuyasha would get together with Sango, Miroku with Sesshomaru, and Kagome would be stuck in the well for all of time! HAHAHAHAHA! Okay, here it goes!
She stood against the rocks, breath panting through chattering teeth. The sounds of her friends chattering echoed behind her.
"Oh god…I can't do this anymore," she breathed out. Her fists clenched, the blood from her slit wrists slithering around her fingers.
"I want to die…I just want to die…."
Her whispered words were the last thing she heard as the darkness took her.
Inuyasha's head popped up' his nose wrinkling cutely. He sniffed the air lightly when a metallic smell hit it.
"I smell blood…"
Kagome looked up, her eyes trained on the hanyou. A thought popped into her head and he turned to the rest of the group.
"Um…where is Sango?"
Inuyasha's golden eyes widened and he ran suddenly to the direction the blood was coming from. The group followed.
Kagome screamed at the sight that greeted them. Sango lay on the ground, blood pooling around her. Her eyes, wide and vacant, stared up at the sky above her. Miroku turned his head away; his face paling. Shippou held his head in his hand and started to cry.
Inuyasha slowly walked over to his fallen companion and took her hand in his. Tears came to his gold eyes. He began to sob openly when the word written on the stone came to his mind. Written in her blood….
"I love someone who doesn't love me……..and my heart now bleeds for him…….Goodbye Inuyasha……"
