AN: I do NOT own mediator, but would like to. Did this for school, but fits for the Maria and Felix situation. From Maria's P.O.V.
Just Waiting
Sitting here staring,
My window showing me
A black sky with bright stars
With a hidden surprise.
You said you'd come tonight,
So where are you?
I'm sitting here, waiting for you
Hoping you'd show up soon
Sighing with my head on my arms,
Glancing out the streets ever so often.
Silence is all I hear,
And no one is seen.
The clock strikes 9,
An hour after 8,
The time you said you'd be here.
Sleep fills me.
Willingly, I give in.
I have no idea what the time is,
But it doesn't matter.
A hand is shaking me awake.
I blink and I see you.
Moonlight brightened your features,
Showing me the man of my dreams.
Slowly, I smile.
Standing, I rush into your arms.
Holding onto you tightly,
Wishing I'll never have to let you go.
My face is buried in your chest,
Smelling your sweet-scented cologne.
You grip onto my shoulders tightly,
And together we get away.
Just a second, and we're here.
Heaven, for we were dead souls.
Lovers since we were 18,
Only one hundred fifty years ago.
Reunited at last after loneliness,
The Gates of Heaven welcome us.
AN: Yes, they went to heaven. Would've preferred hell for what they tried to do to Jesse 150 years ago, but heaven makes the poem better. Anyway, REVIEW :)
