Drowning
Floating underneath the surface,
A single hand desperately reaching towards the surface,
his golden eyes wide, his silver hair green in the water.
Choking, dying, drowning,
his sight is fading, his lungs are burning,
his life is flashing before his eyes.
His oxygen bubbling towards the unreachable surface,
the daylight dimming, the sun fading,
will he ever reach the bottom?
His lungs die, his heart fails him,
and everything fades to black.
