Meep. Hello there. Another fan fiction is now underway! Sort of a side story to Last Time Until Death, Yugi feels alone after Yami leaves him. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I own nothing except some flying horses and my OCs, Kairi, Toby, and Sora.

Feeling alone and pain, Yugi sat on his bed, eyes brimming with tears. One minute, Yami was standing next to him, the next, he was gone.

Every single night, Yugi couldn't sleep; he just lay awake and stared at the ceiling fan. Every night it was the same. Memories clouded his mind, including when he gave his own soul to save Yami's.

"Pharaoh, come back," Yugi whispered. "I need you!" Tears of blood came raining down his face, making his cheeks red.

Yugi ran into the bathroom to wash the blood off his face, the water turning red. Still, the blood ran down his face, nonetheless. He looked in the mirror and gasped.

He saw Yami in the mirror, smiling at him, but Yugi knew that the image must have been an illusion. He was wrong; he was seeing Yami in the mirror, since Yami was his dark half.

The boy couldn't believe his eyes, and blinked. Yami was still there, smiling. The blood that was on Yugi's face was gone, dripping down into the sink. Soon, he noticed that Yami's smile became wicked, like a demon from Hell. Was his mind playing tricks on him, or was this real? He saw the reflection begin to reach out to grab him, but the boy ran, the image running after him.

Yugi ran into his closet, locking the door. A sickening pounding came from the other side, as if the reflection was trying to break the door down.

"No," Yugi whispered. He needed the real Pharaoh, waiting to hold him, but no one came. He was alone, with a reflection that wanted him dead.

He heard the door break, and the reflection came through, holding a knife. Yugi shut his eyes, as he felt the knife go into his heart, seeing the reflection smiling evilly, laughing.

Taking over me…That was Yugi's final thought as he fell, his body growing limp. He was dead, blood glistening on the knife, as the reflection disappeared. Somewhere, the real Pharaoh was sobbing, mourning the loss of his best friend, Yugi. The darkness had taken its toll, and Yugi was left to die and drown in darkness, demons surrounding him, grinning, stabbing, and killing. Yami was afraid, wanting Yugi to come back, but he didn't. It was Yami's dark side that killed the boy, fueled by hatred and darkness.

"Yugi, come back!" Yami cried, tears flowing down his cheeks. He wanted his hikari to come back to life, but he couldn't. The Pharaoh had killed his friend. He drowned in his sorrow, forever.

Pretty sad, eh? Review?
