Her soft hair fell upon her shoulder
in light blonde locks it made its way
in the calmness of the wind
in all directions towards me that day.
There was softness in her voice,
one calm and hard to underestimate,
and the hours we had talked
Felt like minutes without break.
Her pale heart face lied upon my cheek then
in a light glow as she warmly smiled,
and I can see the sun again
like I never seen it in awhile.
Her elegant dress and drifted eyes
were both equally as clear.
I'd never known what was her mind
but I'd be fine just as long as she was here.
The window was open
and the sun turned to moon.
I felt we'd have been there forever,
Though it'd only been the afternoon.
We passed some darkened words
between each other over and over,
but it didn't seem to bother us, after all:
You keep your friends close but enemies closer.
And when we grew exhausted of another argument
we held one another in our arms and became lip to lips.
Where we were we did not care
as for the moment was like this.
Her delicate hands and fingertips
climbed down my back as we kissed,
and when our lips meet
I knew true love, it must've be this.
