"Hiya, boss!"
Warren cringed at the perky greeting from his new secretary. "Good morning, Harmony," he answered back. "Any messages waiting for me?"
The blonde grimaced. "Right! Messages!" She began shuffling papers on her desk. "I have them around here somewhere." She held up a stack of pink "While You Were Out" notes triumphantly and then began to page through them. "Let's see... The mayor accepts your kind invitation to the Worthington Industries holiday gala. The governor is afraid he must respectfully decline your kind invitation to the holiday gala. Colin Firth wants to know why he didn't get an invitation..." She looked up and frowned. "You didn't invite Colin Firth? Why not?"
Warren sighed and took the papers from her hand. "Thank you, Harmony. Please buzz me when my 9:30 shows up, please."
He disappeared into his office, shutting the door behind him. Dropping his briefcase onto his desk, he reached for the phone and punched in a number. "Adrian, it's me. Just where did you find this new secretary for me? She had a glowing recommendation? From who?" He sat back in his chair and booted up his computer. "Well the CEO of Wolfram and Hart must have had the patience of an angel to put up with her."
