Someone asked me to please continue this, and it's sort of a companion drabble. It's not exactly related to the other one, but same idea. It's more Rory confused about her feelings for Jess.

Rory had a confession: Jess was a better kisser than Dean. Usually, Rory didn't compare people using such shallow traits like the quality of their kissing.

But it was true.

Dean had been Rory's first kiss, so that was special, but it had been so awkward and... cold? Rory didn't quite know how to explain it. But this kiss - it was steamy and passionate and all those words thatsound like they belong in daytime soap operas thather mother used to watch.

But it was true.

When they kissed, Jess put his hands around Rory's waist, his hand grazing over her hipbone. It was like his designated area, the area to the side of her stomach. Dean didn't have a "designated area", he just put his hands wherever they ended up at. Dean kissed with his lips, but Jess kissed with his whole body, leaning his face close to hers, pulling her body towards him. It was just with so much more feeling, more fervor. Dean had loved her, but he hadn't kissed her like he loved her. Maybe it was because she hadn't loved him. She didn't feel comfortable thinking that, because she had loved him. But there was still that sneaking suspicion that she never had.

It was true.

At that point in her reverie, the doorbell rang, and Rory allowed Jess in her house. Lorelai wasn't home, so they started kissing in the living room. His soft lips surrounded hers, and his tongue snaked from between his lips, pressing into hers at the exact right moment. She moaned a little, and kissed back. She didn't like to think this, but she hadn't felt like this when she kissed Dean.

But it was true.

I just wrote that in first draft without really thinking, so forgive me if it's pathetic. Please review!
