Disclaimer: I don't own this.

Author's Note: *guiltily crawls out from under rock* I'm so sorry! Please don't hate me! I didn't meant to go this long without updating but I'm balancing way too many stories and way too much homework right now. Also, I didn't know what to write for this chapter at all.

Replies:

Maiden Genisis—Thanks. Sorry it's been so long.

Most SOUR lemon alive—Thanks. Artemis will be in one chapter coming up.

Angel of Harusame—Thanks. I think Trouble sings okay. Not terrific, but pretty good. No, you don't confuse me.

Radioactive Bubblegum—Do you forgive me again? It's not like Gwendolyn' s Revenge has been updated either. I've got you on Author Alert.

Sweetdeath04—Thanks.

Holly Rox—Thanks. Sorry, this one is short again too and I haven't updated in ages…

SpikeTV58—Thanks. Sorry about the delay for this one too. I had no clue what to write.

Chapter 6: Worried

Holly felt better. She'd told Foaly some of what was bugging her as they ate their lunches and then she punched him friendlily in the arm and told him to get back to the office before Root blew his top. Foaly hadn't even started back to the Police Plaza yet and he was already almost ten minutes late.

They went their separate ways and as Foaly turned the corner to leave Holly behind, Holly called to him, "Hey, Foaly!"

"Yeah?" He swished his tail in mock annoyance.

            "Talk to Root for me?"

            "Yeah."

She nodded in thanks, but didn't go home. Instead, she walked around Haven. She walked all the way to the edge of Haven where the Archie's place was. She spent hours walking around and thinking of nothing in particular. Every so often thoughts of Trouble, or Willow, or work grazed her mind, but she let them pass.

She walked passed the restaurants, the shops, and the schools.

Around 6-ish she stopped in a diner to grab some dinner. She sat there idly for another half hour after she'd finished. After all, she was in no rush to go anywhere.

It was nearing nine and the streets where emptied when Holly finally got home. She opened the door and found Trouble asleep on the sofa with Willow in his arms. She looked at the child bitterly, remembering when it used to be her he held in his arms. It felt like it was only yesterday. As a matter of fact, it had been only yesterday. This morning even.

She looked at Willow, who was actually rather adorable. The baby didn't deserve to freeze just because Holly was mad at Trouble. Holly brought out a blanket and covered them both up. She went to bed alone, and felt very lonely.

Trouble had just finished changing Willow's diaper when he realized that Holly should have been back from the barber at least an hour ago. It was already nearing 3 in the afternoon. Where was she?

By 3:30, Trouble started making calls. Holly wasn't the Police Plaza. She wasn't at Frank's. She wasn't at the deli near the Police Plaza. She wasn't at Archie's. She had no other close friends. Where would she be? In a desperate attempt he even called Foaly's house, but he only got the answering machine.

Trouble was seriously worried. Where could Holly be that she wouldn't even bother to call? He wondered if she was in trouble or hurt somewhere. He hoped not. He couldn't imagine life without her.

Trouble had gotten a stroller among other things when he went shopping earlier and put Willow in it now. He locked the door and started on his quest to look for Holly. He searched Haven up and down, even venturing into Spud's Spud Emporium. She was not found to be at any of her usual hangouts. Even the bar she occasionally went to, or used to go to, said they hadn't seen her in at least 6 months. Where was she? Trouble searched everyone, pushing the stroller in front of him all the while. Around half past 8, Trouble knew that Holly must not want to be found or he would have found her by now, you could bet your life on that. Trouble went home and lay on the couch, waiting anxiously for Holly to return. He wanted to be right there for her when she got home.

Unfortunately, he'd spent so long running around after taking care of Willow all day that he was exhausted and fell asleep just minutes before she got home. His dreams that night tormented him with the thought that she might not want to come back. And that thought scared him more than an army of goblins would.

If you don't hate me, review. Hope nobody minded the semi-mushy ending there.
